Thank you, that sounds lovely! The Gudoshnik mix ranges from red to orange and has beautiful tones, I will have to pull out the reds I think think sounds so pretty
I love how giddy you are with all your tulips 🌷 I’m also a dark flower type of a person and double double all day. I also would love a crate myself. You are so excited describing everything, I would be too. I dried my Gudosnik last year their color was too pink for me fresh so I dried them and I like their color more.
Thank you! I had wanted to dry flowers and the season got away from me. This year I think I will hang some string early so it's easy just to hang them up. I'm glad I'm not the only one loving the darks 😍
Thank you so much! That weather, it's just always a bit unpredictable isn't it! We had a record low temperature one night in October this year, and last year no frost at all until November 🤦♀️
This is Jane from Pennsylvania I have 30 gardens at memorial Park and I've been doing it for about 18 years I have just put in a whole bunch of tulips and daffodils and all kinds of plants but yeah the mixture of the colors of the dark and the white lighter colors would be pretty I think okay talk to you later
Our tulip orders have a few in common. I ordered the Gothic mix from Jake too. I'm hoping to find what my customers are looking for. I have about 1600 I think. I was aiming for 500- 🤣
Great idea, I have added the links to the bottom of the description! I did also order from Ball, but I found LeoBerbee to have an easier ordering process and the same wholesale prices
I'm in north Florida and I purchased a LOT of bulbs. Lol The package said plant between oct/ nov.We did get a cold point but its back warm. The bulbs i planted i see SOME poking up.oh, no! So I decided to wait until late December or later to plant my other bulbs. I don't want them flowering before time.
I planted mine around Thanksgiving last year, just because I was late ordering, but I'm thinking I may hold onto them a few more weeks yet. I have field mice and I think voles in the garden, and I'm terrified of them getting my bulbs 😬 but I've been looking into some tricks to try! But mine did great with late November planting last year. But I do get a lot of cold weather (usually, who knows really) from Dec to Feb. I would think a little green might be ok! 🤞
@@brooksfamilyfarm8969 Thanks.I don't have voles but have mice .I heard putting cayenne pepper on seeds BEFORE covering with soil helps. I may experiment with this on my bulbs IF I see i have a problem.
I got them various places, most came from LeoBerbee or a Facebook wholesale group that is linked in the description. When I went back on LeoBerbee's site I couldn't find sizes, I know the ones from Facebook should all be 12+
I always buy a red (if not available then pink) bunch of tulips and display them in a clear glass vase. I just like the way they look.

Me excited about my 300 mix of tulips and daffodils. 😂 So exciting I hope you have all the successes with these bulbs!
I feel like my excitement level was the exact same with my small amount last year. I say lean into it 😉🤣
Lovely group of tulips 🌷. I was hoping to sow a few cool crop seeds before the snow fell, as my luck would go it snowed before I could sow them.

I love black flowers, and green and bronze
I'm glad it's not just me! 😍
What a great selection of tulips.
Thank you so much, I'm excited to see them together 😊

I think it is too, thank you!

I almost got the gothic mix, it was so beautiful! But I needed to cut myself off at some point, I was aiming for around 1200 😅😅

Your tulip bulbs seem HUGE. What size are they? Who is your supplier?
I got them various places, most came from LeoBerbee or a Facebook wholesale group that is linked in the description. When I went back on LeoBerbee's site I couldn't find sizes, I know the ones from Facebook should all be 12+
