I’ve listened to one of the best public land hunters (he’s a big dude) talk about concealment in a saddle and his take is that he thinks deer see people in a saddle as nothing more than another branch hanging off of a tree. Which, if you’re still, I can see what he’s talking about vs sitting in a lock on stand and an unnatural shape up against a tree.
It definitely has some merit. My biggest issue with a saddle is once it gets stupid cold. I've definitely gotten away with way more in a saddle than a tree stand. Allows me to get in some crazy places. Only coyote I've ever killed with a bow is from a saddle.
Think your right i am on land where i just hang a stand and leave it but sometimes i would like to do different trees but not a fan of the work of hanging stands regardless might take me hr to hang the stuff but then it stays there but i could be on board with saddle when i wanna mkce around from time to time
Update: "Puffy" bought the larger sized one... texted me today "Saddle came it would fit an elephant".

Perfect use, I still love pre hung stands by a long shot but bouncing around a little the saddle is so compact and mobile it's unmatched.
What is the diameter of the bridge?
9mm
is that the medium or the xl?
That's the "medium" or standard as they once called it. It only comes in two sizes, this is the smaller of the two.
