Great info, have never seen these before great idea though. I don't really hunt any more, but this got my adrenaline going! Go catch a fish on one of those lures I sent! Tight Lines!
Talon and I are going on the annual trip next week and will try them again this year! Look forward to using them on that trip. Tight lines Dave!
We at xop highly recommend not putting stealth strip between the step and the post. It turns out to look really nice but the tolerance between the 2 is so tight and placing material between them compromises the structural Integrity of the stick. Which might cause a warranty issue. I was going to stealth strip all my sets of sticks this exact way until i was brought aware of the issues it might cause. So i just left them completely assembled measured between the top and bottom step and cut a piece of stealth strip to length and then cut a slit in it for the button. I then used camo paint to cover any spots on the stick that wasn't covered and also painted the steps. Like I said the process you used turns out super Nice I. just didn't want to risk any integrity of the stick.

Great video… can you post some close up pics of the aider? How did you attach it? Is it a diy or purchased?
Sorry, I saw you put the link for the aider in the comments. Thank you.
@@petespencer5787 thanks for watching! I will do you one better. I will make a video today talking about the aider and how I put it on my XOP v2 sticks. Subscribe so you don’t miss that video when I post it.
Can ya please post how ya made the stencil? Great lookin sticks
I will be making that video this week. Expect it up at the end of next week. If you have not subscribed please do so so you don’t miss that video. Thanks very much for watching!
The video on the stencil will be live tonight at 6 pm central. Please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you have not already done so! Good luck this fall!
Great video! How did you attach the aiders to sticks?
First -thanks for watching! I used the second hole from the end. There is a round hole and it’s the next one past that. I tied a double overhand knot and that worked to secure the aider on. Tears it first before using it. Good luck this season!
Did the camo paint help quiet down the sticks? I found them to be rather loud when I first bought them. I know the stealth strips help but it seems like the step part is rather loud.
No the paint did not quite down that part of the sticks. You always have to be careful not to hit metal parts together no matter if they are stealth stripped or not. Good luck this season!
Could probably spray them with a rubberized coating of some kind if youre having trouble with making noise
@@tylerparker3024 that might work but you would loose the excellent “grippyness” of these sticks. I mean your feet almost stick to them when you are climbing.
