I found that when I clear an abs code on my fiat, the light stays on till I leave the abs module with the scanner. You might need to go into the obd mode & clear it there also.
Since I updated, it also stores the codes on the tf card (including vin of the car it scanned).
Also, next time before you clear a code, you should look at the freeze frame data. This is the data that matters & stores the value's right when the code was set (was the abs at low speed, high speed.. that kind of stuff. Another small tip is when you have a code you can press that 'book' button & it will give a description & possible solutions.

Is this any better then using a OBD2 Dongle with the OBD Fusion iphone software vs using the icarsoft?

I bought the icarsoft, but I find it a little confusing. When I click on the sprinter menu, I get 3 different listed options with different #'s to pick from. The first is a string of long #'s. If I pick each one of them, they will scan 20 different things, but not sure what the difference is or which one I should be using. Also, I'm having some glow plug issues, but not sure under which category that shows up and I don't see that listed.

Do you know under which category a glow plug issue would show up on? It just odd that my OBD Fusion software picks up easily and it hard for me to find on the icarsoft device. I was hoping it would be easier to use.

Jimmy, your Sprinter is the 905 series.... The 2007 and up is the 906 series, don't go there. Your scanner, if you bought the MB II or MB V2, will read all the control units on your van, that's why you have so many options. The glow plug codes or controller is under CDI3 (Common Rail Direct Injection 3rd Generation).

i have the icarsoft mb 2 scanner dont think its that good as i had lost of power engine flashing going up a not so steep hill when i got level pulled over waited 30 min started back up no engine light power back got back home ..next day but mb 2 scanner on in obd2 came up with P2BAC CODE and saying NOX EXEEDANCE-DEACTIVATION OF EGR now this code should have another code with it to pin point fault as the above code is related to at least 6 other codes all to do with the DPF system nox sensor.up and down ,pressure sensor,o2 sensor, EGR ...but this scanner dose not give the fault code only the info code P2BAC to let you no theres a fault,, but which one as all these sensors cost big money ...so this scanner is not that good.......mercedes sprinter 210 cdi year 2010

You might need to get a better scanner that costs $1500 or more to tell you more, icarsoft is just a cheep scanner it’s not a professional one
