I just finished this in a 2X in Coboo from lion brand. It is gorgeous. After seeing yours I want to make it in the same yarn. I love this sweater ❤❤❤❤

the same thing just happened to me with the mock cable. i don't really want to tink back individual stitches for 5 rows but im scared of frogging the entire section like you did😂 was it hard to keep track of ? any help would be appreciated

Hi! Thank you so much for watching :) I completely agree, frogging is scary to do but, for me, doing it the way I did in the video is the easiest way. I don't like how much work I lose if I go back and frog the entire few rows so doing only one section makes me feel a little better about my progress😊. Try not to think of dropping stitches as scary, just knitting the same pattern but on a smaller scale. If you want to fix it the same way I did then I suggest finding out where the problem starts and ends and pulling your needles to the surrounding stitches, leaving the messed up column stitches free between the needles and ready to drop. Then, I carefully drop the rows one by one until I get to just below where I made my mistake. I pick up the stitches with the needles that are still holding the rest of my work because I find it easier to visualize what I need to do if I'm not using separate needles. So the yarn from the other rows doesn't get in the way and confuse me I hold it to the side with a safety pin, or you could use a stitch marker that clips. I knit up the rows the correct way this time, looping it over my needle when I have a lot of loose yarn, but as the yarn gets tighter I start looping with my fingers. I always keep track of which row I am by writing it down in a little notebook next to me. If you continue on like this you should be able to fix your mistake in no time! If you finish a row and the stitches seem to be all stretched out and there's extra yarn at the end, pass the stitches back and forth from needle to needle and they should even out on their own. Please let me know if you have any other questions🥰🥰

What kind of soap did you use to wash the sweater? It looks so nice by the way!!

      It's Eucalan soap from amazon

@@KnittingForOneYou can just put it through the washer and dryer since you're using 100% acrylic. It won't shrink or change shape since acrylic is plastic.
