Aquí estaba participando en el concurso "Soy cantante" en 2017, China con 22 años y siendo el cantante más joven del concurso. Con esta canción en francés se ganó al público chino para siempre!!! Una vez que se difundió por el planeta esta canción siguió conquistando corazones y ahora no puede faltar en cada show que ofrece alrededor del mundo.

Ascoltare le tue react migliora il mio modo di ascoltare musica. 👍un pezzo che amo molto è "Daididau" toccante testo sulla storia del suo paese, infatti nei primi video caricati, si esibisce con un principesco costume tipico. Poi trovi "the show must go on" dei Queen e persino "confessa" di Celentano.
This version of SOS sung by Dimash when he was 22.6 years old. Per Dimash it was the very first time he had ever sung on what he called “the adult stage”. He was invited to The Singer 2017 season which Dimash was the youngest and only non Chinese. The competition consisted of known Chinese singers in China. By the way he came in 2nd place. A Chinese female won the only prize by about 0.10 points. I hear many reactors say that he won as well as an Kazakh MC. No he did not win 1st place. I’ve been follow Dimash since 2017. I even watched all of the 2017 season and can tell you how they voted, when and how the winner was announced but I won’t get into that. Dimash as well as all of the contestants had to learn a new song each week. Dimash sung songs in many languages from countries around the world. SOS was sung by Lara Fabian who also sings in multiple languages. She’s not the original singer of the song but she is an Idol of Dimash. He calls SOS his “calling card” since it was his first song singing on stage as an adult. There are many versions of SOS where Dimash has not only perfected it grammatically but he sings it different ways every time as he does all of his songs. Sinful Passion with A’Studio was the first time he performed that song but during his solo concert in Russia, he has perfected that song and it’s one of my favorites.
I would advise everyone to listen to how he sings songs during his live solo concerts. You will be surprised at the changes and the growth.

SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! SOS is an existentialist song, ups and downs in life, depression and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. The lights in the back denoting all emotional stages, the wings and final moments before departing to heaven. Dimash is the Most Skilled Vocalist ever!!! Technically and artistically that’s a fact. His versatility, wide range, stage presence, performance, background, technique, creativity, powerful and beautiful voice makes him all in one .
The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. Dimash is now a world class artist, turned 28 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, he also performs in concerts with the famous Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He started his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 15 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. Questa canzone è una perla del libro delle canzoni francese è un'opera cyberpunk-rock canadese-francese chiamata Starmania, scritta nel 1976 da Michel Berger (Francia) e con testi di Luc Plamondon (Canada) e immortalata nelle voci di Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne e Grégory Lemarchal. Il tema della canzone è la depressione: nella versione del 2021, Dimash presenta fedelmente e brillantemente un'interpretazione sentimentale e malinconica! The song was written by Michel Berger for his friend Daniel Balavoine in the late 1970s for the French "rock" opera Starmania. Balavoine's rendition is very beautiful as well but no one (Gregory Lemarchal did another popular version later) had or has Dimash's perfection and sustainability of voice.
What I want to say is that Dimash from the beginning of doing covers took great care in researching the history of the songs. In this one he captures perfectly the misery of the earthly existence felt by the character as well as the rocky nature of the musical (which was conceived shortly after Bohemian Rhapsody). It's also worth mentioning that both Balavoine and Lemarchal died very young (33 and 23 respectively), which adds historical drama to the song, also perfectly captured by Dimash.

J'esssayais, alors que je t'écoutais, d'imaginer quel commentaire tu pourrais faire de toutes les versions édulcorés de la même chanson interprétées par des gens comme Daniel Balavoine, Grégory Lemarchal, Bruno Pelletier ou Norman Groulx. Cette chanson, comme tu le sais probablement, a eu un succès éclatant en France , et pourtant, quand on voit ce que Dimash a fait avec cette chanson, il y a de quoi faire rougir de honte ces chanteurs de paccotille dont j'ai mentionné les noms plus haut. Cela revient à dire que ce n'est pas tellement le texte ou la pièce que l'on a en mains qui importe, mais la manière selon laquelle on traite le sujet. Les grands artistes, les êtres d'exception sont précisément ceux qui parviennent à transubstantier une oeuvre au point où la nouvelle rendition est supérieure,
indubitablement plus "parfaite" que l'original. Ailleurs, j'ai mentionné l'interprétation extraordinaire qu'avait faite Angelina Jordan de la chanson pourtant légendaire et emblématique de Freddy Mercury (jugée comme "l'indépassable" chanson du répertoire) Bohemian Rhapsody. Quand on réalise qu'Angelina Jordan, lorsqu''elle s'est produite sur scène pour chanter cette chanson en public, elle n'avait que 13 ans. Et pourtant! Il en est de même pour Dimash qui s'empare d'une chanson en français (son français laisse quelque peu à désirer, mais cela n'enlève pas un iota à l'enchantement de sa prestation) et comme tu l'as merveilleusement démontré, dès les toutes premières notes, en fait "sienne", comme si c'était lui qui avait composé, ciselé cette chanson.
Les autres chanteurs se contentent de parcourir les gammes avec une modeste, technique agilité. Ils le font sans âme, sans véritable émotion. Dimash, lui, est un artiste complet en ce que non seulement il a à sa disposition plusieurs "voix" mais tout sa personne, tout son être, toute sa gestuelle, en particulier ses mains, participent de ce sublime exercice de communication. Merci, un grand merci, Giacomo, pour avoir en des termes à la fois simples et accomplis, démontré ce qu'était non seulement le génie de Dimash, mais le génie dans sa forme la plus pure, la plus inspirante.

It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him.
Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English).
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! When Dimash was gonna go in to the other contestants he again turned to his father and asked him if he done good! That’s the kind of man he is humble, loving and respectful.

Gloria Wu's channel has the back-story about the song that is so sad and from a life story about a boy losing his parents in an awful way. Also you get to hear how Dimash sounds like then loosing his voice the day of the show!!! When he went on he didn’t know if he could sing. Looking close at the other contestants they where so worried about him. He lost his voice again after. Li Jian another contestant bought him a very very expensive Chinese medication for him so he could get better soon!

Episode 10 : 'Unforgettable Day' In Kazakh and I think some translation in Chinese to. If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.

He didn’t win the competion they say its because he wasn’t Chinese. But I don’t know if that’s right or not! They change the rules next year. But he got the most out of it and was most known after this. Got lots of awards and other things to. So he won the audience and the Chinese people.
