Hello, I just found your channel. Looks like good stuff. Thank you
Sorry for your loss Randell
A very efficient and a good tool to check this situation! Very impressive!
Thanks
I had the same crack in the same cylinder. Used iron tite from Napa. No more water in the oil, worked good.
This one is cracked into the cylinder bore and compression was also pushing out water Glad you got yours sealed
Good candidate for a Burtz engine block upgrade
I have two Burtz engines but haven’t started putting them together
Very interesting. Too bad the block is bad.
Wow what a clean garage
Aren’t B blocks more prone to cracking?
Seems so
Looks like a beautiful car. That's too bad. My grandparents had a Model A but unsure what year?
They were and still are a great car!!
Can that be pinned and sleeved?
The top of block is pitted deep, B engines are noted for being thin and it's cracked into cyl, bore
It could but wouldn’t you want a better block
Muy bueno
Weld it up and machine it good as new.
I could spend several hours heating and welding and then bore out and sleeve not worth my time , if it was the last B block might would consider
