He showed us how to do this. He spent his money. He doesn’t need the kart BUT he still showed us what to do. This shows how much of a good youtuber he is. Thank you sur ronster.
I started saving for a Motor Goat v3. I bought a Hurly ebike and regret it everyday. I learned why good ebikes cost over a grand. 2 years ago I totaled my truck when I hit a dear and the way the world is, buying a car and paying insurance isn't in the budget especially after losing my job and getting a new one at a pay cut. It's going to take a while but when I can buy it, I'm going to learn how to wheelie it because of you. Thank you for your positive attitude and the good content. We need more people like you. Keep up the good work.
We usually have more people in our group out here in san diego, but we couldn't get everyone out on short notice. We have as much as 8-10 sometimes, and im always trying to grow the group. Whenever I find them cheap I buy them and fix them up as loaner carts or for someone to buy if they want, but I build them in stages. Going straight to the 900w or 1100w kit is a bit much and hard to control, just like a real drift car (kind of, the extra tq does help to pull you out of a drift if needed that the less wattage motors won't do)
The cool thing about those upgraded casters is they're literally just longboard wheels. So you could switch up to a bunch of different colors and materials for a different style or feel. i have the same pair of durians on a switch 40 from the first production of the durians in 2008.
I bought a lo206 Racing Kart for $1400 and then threw drift sleeves on it. Total: $1500. You can find them used on marketplace for $1400 - $2500. I know its not electric . . . but it does 50 mph and is a beast. There is also a video called: "29MPH on your Crazy Cart for $173!! Taxi Garage Alternatives" on youtube that shows you how to mod a crazy cart for cheap. You get the same results but for a total of only $600 if you were to buy all new parts and a kart.
@@BboyMobsterno. These things are tanks. I flipped the shit out of mine often shredding to hard. First time riding I was sending it on the 1100 watt kit like he's riding in the video. I don't see how 2k for a build is considered cheap, I recently got a mx350 currently modding everything to a 72v so far I haven't installed the parts yet to tell, but its only costed me less than 300$ this is also my first time modding Soo wish me luck..
It's probably a lot cheaper to source the parts yourself, he just used a kit from Taxi Garage which definitely has you paying a convenience fee on this set up for sure
@@asmrthaa I don’t think he has bought the battery yet cause i just finished building my 48v 1000w mx350 and it costed around 500$ not including the bike
Dude, I don't know what tax bracket these guys or their parents are in but it has to be a pretty elite club. $10k e-bike, $15k go-cart, drift razor $3k !
San diego crew might end up cruising up closer to him if we can all get our schedules together. It can be tough to find really good spots to ride with a lot of smooth concrete and good turns, they actually just opened this place 8 months ago. We wanted to get "day time" video and we were battling a lot of walking traffic, it's why I stopped drifting and pulled to the right when he said "ah, they are drifting 4 wide" because I try to be respectful to people that are there. Night rides are usually better but make for worse videos sadly.
This is a great video idea. I love your content but a lot of the things you show are too expensive for most people, but this on the other hand, is actually feasible for a lot of people. Keep up the good content.
And it can be built cheaper if you start with a used cart instead of a brand new cart. I got into these 2 years ago, and I built my first couple super cheap to get used to the cart before upgrading to all the taxi garage stuff.
It has a controller its brushless. i would say the brake he uses it a little overkill for the usage. so drop that 500 to idk 150? and i would say its cheap.
@@murarimuli Pay for a good quality battery pack maker. Or build it yourself. My e-bike has a Battery management system(bms) that already was 40 euro's. It will protect against Alot of those problems. Still the way the pack is build is the most important if you don't want a fire.
Just got my e ride pro ss 2.0 a little over a week ago best money I’ve spent in awhile and just wanted to say thank u for making my decision alot easier between which bike I should throw my money at. Stay safe bro and keep up the vids 👍
Got the 1100 too. Its too nice. Ive built one super budget model since stock motor 36 volt controller. And another hub motor conversion running 54 volts. Both powered by milwaukee m18 batteries. Stock motors will get hot quick fair warning. So far the hub motor is best bang for your buck. Got the cart cheap so all in maybe 300 not including batteries.
$379 on walmart, and I upgraded mine to go 29mph for an extra $173. I make videos about how to upgrade for cheap if you want to watch them. I'm not trying to get famous, just help people save money with crazy carts!
It doesn't "have" to cost that much, if you buy a used cart, and don't run the brake (I don't have a brake but I would "like" one). I like to build them in stages when I was first learning, but, you can just get the taxi garage 900w kit for 500ish bucks, 48v battery for 400 bucks and good casters (does make a difference when your fast) for like 260? I've picked up used carts for as cheap as $20 or even free but they are usually pretty best up, so, I mainly hold out for carts in the 100 range if they are clean and build those up (powder coat also, costs "around" 200 bucks depending on color and location, could be cheaper).
I spent about 1200 total on a 35mph crazy cart build that was essentially plug and play with a 20 min total setup time and I still could have easily saved a couple more hundred bucks if I knew what I was doing at first. You just got to know where to look don't immediately go with Taxi Garage because its so accessible, you will get taxed thousands more than you should spend because of branding and convenience. Ive gotten 40mph top speed going down a hill and I easily get over 30 miles of range per 5 hour charge. (probably closer to 55 miles of range for full charge)
Well, I bought my first crazy cart used, rusty n crusty for $20, a little spray paint and $140 36v lithium Amazon battery and I was riding and learning 🤷♂️ but, personally, the more power you have it makes it easier to drift, because the tq of the higher wattage motor helps to pull you out of a drift. I upgraded my cart in steps, went to 500w ebay motor after that (like $89) then eventually to a 900w and differnt battery before I went all in on the taxi garage stuff (which is top notch). But I would always suggest starting with a used old cart, because you will end up crashing into things, but once you get the hang of it, powder coat the chassis like I did, and or, find a "straight" chassis to paint.
FYI, if you really want to do this on a budget build, you just strip out all the electrical components and take the two motor leads and jam them into a Dewalt 20 V max battery, works great, use caution because you completely bypass the throttle so it’s full speed all the time
These are truthfully fun, as long as you got people of the same ability to ride with. You don't have to buy the cart new, and don't need brakes (even tho suggested now that they have a kit) but if you can get a cheap chassis (100 bucks used) and spend another 1300 ish on 900w kit, 48v battery, and casters, you can have fun for hours (about 2 😂)
When I have extra money I’m going to definitely do one of your builds! I think my favorite one so far is the red kart 💯 but the bat mobile is legendary 🙏🏼🙏🏼
It is a steep learning curve for sure, but once it clicks, it's an amazing experience, especially when drifting with all your friends in tandem. I wished I could have kept the group closer together but I can be hard to know who is behind you in formation... plus there was way more foot traffic than usual, and I always try to be respectful of people walking and slow down and move over for them (some are super rad and move over for us).
San diego crew are trying to find more locations closer to him so he doesn't have to drive as far. But the spot we have here is one of the nicest I've been able to find after searching Google maps for hours.
I've made the cheapest go kart from AliExpress parts (kunray 3000w motor and controller, rear axle, wheels etc) for 790 dollars. But I appreciate your effort and I can notice that your kart is higher quality!
I put a mini light bar on my steering wheel, that way it's always "facing forward" because if you mount the light bar to the cart, it will almost always be facing sideways since it's always in the drift.
I ride here every day I love the new park they made it’s so nice! Was a much needed addition to the area especially now that Qualcomm stadium isn’t there any more.
Man, I couldn't believe when we found this place in December. I troll Google maps for hours looking for cool parks to ride, and Google maps still show this as a big dirt lot 😂 what do you ride? We try to come out on the carts every other weekend not to blow up the spot.
Pleese sur ronster I have been saving up for a cart for about 4 months now and have got nowhere you might think I’m just trying to say that but I’m not just keep doing what your doing everyone loves you dude🙂
i love your videos so much but I just hate when they end keep up the good work, you're the GOAT ALWAYS have and ALWAYS will be! stay safe and ISAYDO!!!!!!!!!
I search for hours on Google maps looking for "parks" with nice concrete trails. Asphalt is about the worst for the carts as it wears out the wheels n tire quickly. You would be surprised what hidden gem parks are around, I try to look for "new housing" developments because they are "usually" required to build some sort of "park" near or in them per amount of houses they build. Don't get me wrong, ive checked out close to 30 parks, and only about 5 check all the boxes with enough turns, loops, smooth, flat (elevation changes are rough) size and foot traffic.
That stock Fork bearing needs to go! Change it out for a high quality one and your ride quality will go WAY up! ZERO speed wobble. Also bro, replace those front pegs with small casters from Home Depot. That way when the cart tips you can recover because there's no friction. It's so great to finally see these getting mainstream attention!
I agree with the headset, but sadly, any type of front caster or peg tends to be more dangerous, basically a catching hazard that could easily bend your chassis. I've tried the casters in front, but they almost never face the correct way, and, if you come in contact with them, you were probably going to tip anyways. I ditch my pegs/front casters as soon as I get one and why I yanked them off ronsters cart.
Not gonna lie when I first saw it I was like looks cool but prob would only ride it once then it'd sit and die. But seeing the community all riding like that, now I want one really bad. Looks fun af, but dangerous af too lol
Man, the first time a road a stock one in my friends garage, I knew I had to buy one of my own. I ride at least every other weekend if not more, and I have 7 carts now, so I'll always have one someone can borrow to ride, or an extra for sale for cheap (that can be upgraded). My black n green cart is awesome, and red n black 1 is just as fast, but im about to build a 3rd custom 1 with prismatic purple and glow in the dark so it stands out better, it's hard to tell my black chassis is actually prismatic paint also.
I’ve only watched a few of you videos but I’m already hooked and try to watch one of your videos every day I truly enjoy your content I hope you will notice this comment and even if you don’t it doesn’t matter to me as long as I get to watch more of you videos I’m happy I hope you have a good day
For me, it's definitely the most fun, I've gotten in trouble on my hopped up razor motorcycles and other things, most people are intrigued by these, even the security and cops think they are cool (as long as we don't ride like idiots). You can get into one much cheaper if you find a used chassis for around 100 bucks, and don't run the brake kit (it's a new development that's super cool, but ive been using Flintstone brakes for the last 3 years) 900w kit is around 500 bucks, 48v battery is 400, and casters are 260, so, around 1160 not including cart and powder coating or paint (I suggest riding first before painting, because you will more than likely crash a few times while learning)
I have been thinking, what about adding something like one of those fairly quiet 2kw petrol engine generators into one of your builds, see how far you can extend the range, as you arent using 10-20kw all the time.....I think it needs to charge the vehicle while riding/driving for coolest effect, hybrid style, otherwise its just a portable charger. Plus it would be cool if the generator revved up as the vehicle sped up, but that would be a bit of hassle! Anyway would make a fun video to see how far you could get in something on a long range e-drive.
I just want to say that I’m buying an MX 650 to replace my old dirtbike and I wanna upgrade it just like you because you’re my favorite TH-camr so I’m taking inspiration from by using electro&co and getting an MX 650😝
That XL is worth the extra $ It’s way more stable (I haven’t fallen out of it, yet; hard driving.) Seat is way more comfortable. Caged around the back, more protection. Cons: twice as heavy. The standard cart is less comfortable (smaller seat,) flips easily, but light enough to carry, and fit in the trunk of a sedan, easily. Idk how they drive them standard (small) carts with anything bigger than the stock 250 motor ☠️

This is an awesome video man! I’ve been wanting to modify my own kart for a while now!
Surronster really should review an Aventon E-Bike
Got a crazy cart for my birthday wich is in 2 days because of you love your videos
745$ CAD on Amazon just for the stock cart
I hope we get to see more content on this go-cart cos i really liked this vid❤❤
@@619omni interesting. They work really well and have saved me and my kids a lot. They always roll. But if it's not your thing I can't blame you! 👍
I’ve only watched a few of you videos but I’m already hooked and try to watch one of your videos every day I truly enjoy your content I hope you will notice this comment and even if you don’t it doesn’t matter to me as long as I get to watch more of you videos I’m happy I hope you have a good day
This was such a fun watch, great stuff!
buy a mototec, test it, review it on stock and tune it
Balls up, ALWAYS go Balls UP!1
if i had the money to buy all these things i would definetly do that this looks so fun
For me, it's definitely the most fun, I've gotten in trouble on my hopped up razor motorcycles and other things, most people are intrigued by these, even the security and cops think they are cool (as long as we don't ride like idiots).
You can get into one much cheaper if you find a used chassis for around 100 bucks, and don't run the brake kit (it's a new development that's super cool, but ive been using Flintstone brakes for the last 3 years)
900w kit is around 500 bucks, 48v battery is 400, and casters are 260, so, around 1160 not including cart and powder coating or paint (I suggest riding first before painting, because you will more than likely crash a few times while learning)
Finally he builds smth cheap
sick spot!
Yo my friend bought one a few weeks ago
Ayyy sur ronster you are amazing you make my day every video and you just keep doing what you do and love😊❤😊
You inspiered me to get a talaria x3 thank you so much for being you
I have been thinking, what about adding something like one of those fairly quiet 2kw petrol engine generators into one of your builds, see how far you can extend the range, as you arent using 10-20kw all the time.....I think it needs to charge the vehicle while riding/driving for coolest effect, hybrid style, otherwise its just a portable charger.
You just gained a subscriber 😊❤❤
you should try the ridstar q20
nah but the intro song hits different
Can you please do a review on the Tuttio ev pit bike ?
the "cheapest" crazy cart (with all the most expensive upgrades installed)
I love your videos man. Ive learned so much about building bikes and karts. Im excited for the day when i can afford to build one
You are my favorite TH-camr ever
That XL is worth the extra $
It’s way more stable (I haven’t fallen out of it, yet; hard driving.)
Seat is way more comfortable.
Surronster is actually hilarious 😭3:40
DID SURRONSTER JUST MENTION RIPSTIKKKKK🔥🔥🔥
