Thank you once again Jim for giving us an insight into history, and attempting to show us other ideas and perspectives, I guess that big old tree could tell us what really happened way back then, and l agree good and bad on both sides and yes always the victors story sits on top, remember what we were taught at school about how Australia was discovered, just to know now that the Dutch were here before and most likely many others without even getting into the indigenous argument...that's why l love the internet we can learn so much from others like yourself...once again thanks Jim and co well done loved the adventure.

Very true about who writes history. My great uncle was involved in the Stinson crash search and rescue, you may have heard of it. But he told a different story, were QLD police pulled rank and extracted them to QLD rather than take an "possibly" easier way down to NSW. I did a video on it on my channel. But my cousin, his grandson, said the same thing as you, its the victors that write the history books and only those there will ever know now.

Hi I was with the CFA and what the public was told was not what happened in the many bush fires where people die in the truth is the first thing that gets lost.
