I'd like to imagine each character is so powerful from matching so many puyos that they are literally throwing multiple planet nuking meteors at each other. makes watching puyo matches 100 times cooler.
Consider the fact that since Puyo Puyo is a spin-off of an RPG, and every character is a wizard in some form, and popping Puyos gives them some sort of mana, then they have stored so much they can throw nuke after nuke.
