Me too, Steve Miner did an outstanding job, really creepy sets, truly scary for those times, and one of the few in the series that actually makes sense!!! That plus this track, which is the eeriest cripiest ever, couldnt miss. Still gives me the creeps!! Love it

Not even close. I'm not a fan especially of Halloween but even I can appreciate what a masterpiece of horror music making Halloween was. Sorry but Friday the 13th (any of them) doesn't even register.
Parts 2 and 4 had the best, creepiest soundtracks of all the films. Sure the music featured in the first film(and third, which mostly re-uses the first film's soundtrack) was good, but the second film's soundtrack is a lot darker and sets atmosphere.
