I was looking at this video thinking it'd show the Blood Kelp trench wreck. I knew that there were other entrances to the Lost River, but never even tried to look for or use them. I've played through the game a few times, have always used the entrance in the Grand Reef.
ive done two play throughs, currently doing a third. Ive always used the bulb / mountain entrance as its always where i put my base. this time im using the trench since my base is right over it.
@@dirak418 Use it wisely, I didn't said that you should turn it on until your power drains, Turn it on when you need it or can't see, Not leave it on everytime you dont need it, It's like leaving silent running on everytime you dont need it, If you have ion cells then it wont be a problem, If power is a problem then just carry some materials to build a stop base to charge your powercells, Use a thermal reactor or biorractor, A multipurpose room, Hatch, And some plant life, Then once your done, Deconstruct it all then go proceed to your amazing journey to the deep dark depths.
Funni fact: I’ve never went in the blood kelp zone in my entire life. Since I already have a cyclops in the list river without using the blood kelp path, it was so hard
Not so sure the issue is getting down to the lost rover as mush as it is navigating it to get to the lost tree without getting destroyed which I still haven't managed to do yet. The ghost reaper and bonefish can be a real PITA so save before going down.
There are ghost leviathans there, and the blood kelp trench gives better access to the more interesting parts of the lost river. The trench has way more warpers though
People sometimes complain about taking their cyclops down here without even using the sonar or just use their seamoth and place a beacon into the entrance and take their cyclops simple as that.

@@dirak418 It is mean't to be used to help you navigate confusing dark or murky waters, Or to find what entrances and stuff like that.
I use sonar every time i can in seamoth
incomprehensible to me that people often seem to struggle fitting the cyclops through holes 3x as wide as it is long

I use the trench to get nickel from the lost river entrance there its alot easier to find in that area of the lost river for me

You go ahead in your prawn suit, and punch the ghosts to death. The smaller fish die as soon as you ram them with the cyclops.

Correct also the dead zone also is creepy as well do to the darkness and ghost leviathans
Just use the Nothern Entrance its very easy for cyclops.

@@mrlong2990as far as i know warpers dont get you in the cyclops so you should be fine
