Rappa being AOE makes her more future-proof when back-row enemies are added to the game. Also, weakness implants are giving way to colorless toughness damage in terms of kit design. They won't be as relevant in the future.
Agreed. I'd pull Rappa in a heartbeat if we didn't know that: 1) 5 star Herta will be Erudition and she's slated to come in 3.0 and 2) Erudition will be tied with Destruction as having the most paths in the next world Just feel that the opportunity cost is pretty high atm

The fire implant firefly have is what gonna make her impervious to the main weakness of break. Rappa on the other hand not only need Imaginary to work best, she also need Fire weakness on the enemies simply because she has no relic to change into.

With fugue, lingsha, and firefly is fire, next hoyo just make a new plannar or relic that can change someone attribute to fire so ruanmei can also join the fire nation.

Is anyone else kinda not a fan of the not so subtle push to Firefly in the meta? Like the newer break supports and sustains have all been fire instead of physical or imaginary even though physical is in the same break dmg archetype as fire (they both have higher break dmg than the rest) and imaginary synergizes with superbreak despite having some of the lowest break multipliers. Like I want to pull Boothill and Rappa but then why pull them when most of the break supports prefer being paired with Firefly over them? It's really annoying to me and so far I've only seen my close friends agree with this, not sure about the rest of the internet

Get 3200 atk, 145+ speed (depends on what speed threshold you want, 145 is for the 2 piece set and the next threshold is at 161, 146-160 speed won't make any difference besides the order of turns. The next threshold is at 172 if u want to go there). After that is done just stack all the break effect you can, but you need a minimum of 250% for the 4 piece set
yes, you lose 15% dps by wearing er rope. but you lose 30% dps via not ulting in time. energy and break to Rappa is similar to crit chance to crit dps: you can accumulate as much crit damage as you want, but if you don't have enough crit chance - it doesn't matter.

You could but if you only get her E0S0 it's a little bit underwhelming (compared to break and fou teams). Also she needs the right support (pela , sw, black swan, jq and gallenger) and that one def shred nihility weapon.

I wondered why people don't think why all things that relates to break is Fire element, remember, Sustain for break IS fire, Support for break will be fire, and most importantly, Break Relic NEEDS fire. It's dumb if they make a break team, a team that need to break toughness to deal any damage in the first place, to not make their elements center around one element, a sustain and support that can't help break enemies' toughness is Useless, just like HMC is when the enemies doesn't have imaginary weak. Fire is the element Hoyo decide to center break around.
Why is no one talking about FF + Rappa? With both at E0S0 and cope (barely speed breakpoint on both FF and Rappa), getting 0 cycle on the first half of the current MoC was easy as hell. Both of them together break stuff so fast, it is absolute insanity. If the enemies already have IMG weakness, adding Fire implant of FF and her insane toughness bar break...it will always be EZ clap, even in Apo Shadow. IF you break anything so fast and then easily kill it, you dont need any sustain at all. I dare say, if you have both E2S1, you can ez clap every MoC and every Apo Shadow for all eternity without breaking a sweat.

DPS with weakness implant (Firefly, Feixiao, Boothill) are currently at the apex. This is the 2.x meta Hoyo has created for better or worse. DPS without it will naturally be compared. Does that mean they are bad? No, if you have a bag of infinite pulls then feel free to pick Rappa up. I'm sure she will do her job in her niche well. The overwhelming rest of us however will be focusing our non-infinite pulls on broken supports and incoming 3.x meta shift DPS.
