This presentation is wonderful. You just about covered every facet of the African situation. The REAL change is with ourselves. WHEN WE CHANGE EVERYTHING ELSE HAS TO CHANGE. We have wasted hundreds of years trying to change people who don't intend to change. This may be our last chance to change ourselves by loving ourselves, embracing our Africanity, and CONDUCTING A SPENDING BOYCOTT. It is a fact that the U.S. economy was built up by Africans. Therefore, if we built it up for Caucasians, we can tear it down and build an economy for ourselves. Selective and collective spending among ourselves requires no marches, no placards, no speeches, no violence, and no police. Thank God for you, your musical gift, and your wisdom.

Mr Grant, your uncompromising and direct stance on the matter is truly admirable. The African‘s struggle that you refer to is relatable, especially in the South African context as that is my frame of reference. It is discouraging to note that despite the huge sacrifices made by all the great liberation heroes and heroines upon whose shoulders we stand, the same systemic racism still affects modern society and will likely continue to do so in the foreseeable future. This is unless as you say, oppressors are willing to take a long, hard and honest look at themselves and change. We as Africans likewise need to free ourselves from mental slavery and endeavour for independence in all spheres (economic, social and otherwise). Our freedom cannot in any way rely on the oppressor’s political buy-in and subsequent remorse over their actions. Should that be the case, then we as Africans will forever be destined to holding out the proverbial begging bowl to our persecutors, even in matters of redress. Their current show of solidarity with BLM movement would truly have more impact and meaning if it did not only display itself in sporadic incidents of racism but continued even against the face of ongoing, sustained racial tension. Sadly, the change we are hoping for remains an illusion for now. Only God can save us.
I was in the street I was doing my shopping. Then was going to make my way home an saw all these people walking so i followed. Speak it, Eddy! from a white guy in the US. Most of us common white people in the US really want the African people in our country to prosper, as our neighbors and friends. The ones that do not want that, are a relic of our terrible past. Love your music, sir. And I love your perspective on things. I have to listen again to take it all in.

I grow up listening to Ras Eddie Grant music I remember one song that had had an massive impact on me was Race Hate those words never leave my mind up to this day 40 something years after ironically this is the very core of this discussion many might disagree with Ras Grant use of words but words are like swords they hurts but that's not the point of my comment. AS a fellow countryman of this man i realize that this is the man that was prophecy to lead our nation this is the rastaman who is destined to take my country out of the dark ages and make the world see Guyana as it once was a Beautiful country with beautiful people and the food basket of the carribbean a country where its people were taught to be self sufficient and independent today race hate, corruption and leaders without vision and gut have mash up my country and Mr Grant if you read your comments section I would strongly recommend you run for the PRESIDENT OF GUYANA if the thought hadn't already crossed ur mind if so I will be one of your most faithful supporter in this era of your time you are a man of vast experience and a man of vision for his people I know in my heart that you are the LEADER Guyana been awaiting 🇬🇾🇬🇭
My aunt who has sadly passed away adored this mans leadership and strength as a African brother , and through her i understood when he said give me hope Joanna 🙏🏽
I have many Guyanese relatives, who arrived from the Caribbean during the 1960's. My Geography tells me that 'Guyana' may be seen as a Caribbean country. But if you check its borders and the oceans between the Caribbean islands, you'll quickly understand the Geographical landscape of a different location of the South.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Mr Grant, you just blew me away with this amazing video. It went to the very core of my being and hit bottom all the way back to the top. I have followed you throughout you musical career as an amazing artist and have aquired a few of your records (Albums). As a radio DJ here in Florida I played your songs on a daily basis (in the rotation). I had a serious blow up with management of the station WSLR LP FM Sarasota, just about a month ago (May 2020), relating to some of the same race related issues that you speak about in your video, I'm not sure if I will continue doing me thing at that station in the future. Did it for eight years but had enough a de Racist BS. This video has totally opened up my awareness to a whole different side of your inner being which was even more powerful than I could have ever imagined. Brother, you came with the shit (pardon my expression) and took no prisoners with your soul rendering passion and in your face truth to bull shit smack down of the wicked heartless Colonial powers across the planet. You touched on all areas of concern that's affecting Africans all over the planet and provided solutions to address those concerns. You are the real deal bro. If an impassioned speech like this doesen't resonate with my African brothers and sisters across the Diaspora and wake us the hell up from our shameful protracted slumber, nothing else will. I saw that fire in your eyes and that serious resolve in the tone of your voice which was eye opening to say the least. You my friend are serious Presidential leadership material. I salute you Sir!!! BIG UP!!!
You need to stay at the Radio station so your message can be heard by millions of people. They are upsetting you on purpose Racists are not going away, stand up and fight the fight spiritualy and mentally.listen to this song Get up stand up by B. Marley

Respect is gained with AFRICANS organisations setting out our own African Cooperative banking system. With just $1 membership fee. African Cooperative Banking Charter. A financial services industry sector will be established in our system. Cooperative African Airlines with our CHARTERS ON HOW COOPERATIVE will be run and those who will be getting pilots license owned and run by Africans. We'll be owning our own air waves. Our own air waves station to manned planes flying above our flying safety zone. Our cooperative military personnel to safeguard our countries and protect our people. Our own nuclear power stations just like the Jews to enforce might. Cooperative African immigration LAWS OFFICERS WORKING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF AFRICANS. Cooperative African police system set up for the maintaining of law and order only for those who cannot behave themselves and are a danger to society. Cooperative African hospitals with top of the range machines. With fully equipped qualified medical specialist. Herbal Herbalist health officials used for a majority of our medical treatments. There obviously will be more missing plans but that can be included to improve our lives as we go on.
The Galactic Travelers as you are a Russian I recommend you stay in your own lane with your horrific history and continued horrors being perpetuated on foreign soil even today!

Thank you. And God bless you.
Big up Mr British Guiana 🇬🇧🇬🇾❤️ we love you in Guyana and the UK
Thank you Eddy, this is the real issue, thank you for shining light on this.
Well said my brother the truth will set you/us free, thank you.
I am your follower and admirer from (Yoruba tribe)Nigeria living in Trinidad and Tobago.
Wow! Wow!
They are upsetting you on purpose Racists are not going away, stand up and fight the fight spiritualy and mentally.listen to this song
Get up stand up by B. Marley
