Wow I literally just got all my messages on my new phone. Before it was empty and I was really stuck and didn’t know what to do. I thought I would loose all my messages because my iCloud back up wasn’t even working. It kept stopping bc I didnt have space on my old phone but you’re literally a life saver. And wait for the messages to be uploaded to your iCloud. It could take some times depending on how many massages you have. Then restart Messages on iCloud in the New Phone, and wait a bit, and your messages should be in the new phone. 😊

I started with it and went through successfully until the messages had to load on the new phone. The load showed, then I had a notification that uploading to icloud had pause and I had to insert a charger. I inserted and the notification vanished but yet to see the messages on the new phone. Synced iCloud, Turned on Send and Receive, Turned on iCloud for Messages and still don't see any message indicating that the messages are being uploaded or transferred on both iPhones.
