I appreciate your good intentions and the effort you've put into this project. However, I must bring to your attention a crucial issue with the design. ---- The structure you've proposed is intended as a river diversion canal, which is a very different type of infrastructure compared to a simple canal. A river diversion canal must be positioned in a straight section of the river, rather than along a curve. This is an important engineering consideration. ---- Unfortunately, placing it in the curvature as designed would likely lead to significant problems, including flooding in both countries, which would result in more harm than benefit. Sadly if they continue they will flood both countries and cause more harm than good. Inadvertently you could cause more harm than good. Please check with technical , hydraulic engineer before promoting this. God-bless,
I love seeing this. I loved watching the construction. I loved watching the energy and strength of Haitians building for themselves. I am confident that the same intelligence and planning that brought this to fruition will become the way forward for Haitians to continue the work.
The image of Haiti and Haitians that we see in the West (mostly the U.S.) is one that focuses on some parts of P-a-p that are suffering the chaos of no security. The true picture of Haiti and Haitians is one of a diligent, hard-working people who love their children, love to create and have fun, love to build a better future, and have a _fierce_ love of their own "Haitianness," and that will come together to build great things for good. What holds them back isn't sloth or indifference but lack of resources and security. Give Haitians the tools and the materials, and they'll rebuild every city and road and dam.
I'm proud of you stay in your land trying to build it. Unfortunately it's not like for most of Haitian males. They travel to other men lands. Real men build their countries for their women.
Good coverage bro! The people are very resilient, when the entire haiti population decides to unity as a nation much more great development will be attempted by the people. Haiti deserves all her glory to be restored by her beautiful loving caring citizens from home and abroad🇭🇹. One love my people! 🇻🇨 💚💛❤

@@OverdemAll Sorry I don't. I am happy that you mean well though. You are forgetting something extremely important, the river is born in the Dominican Republic and most of its course travels in this country. You are building something over the wrong cause and no rights to divert the whole river which belongs to the Dominican Republic. Mother nature is just doing what is right.
In 1966 UN forest research studies reported 12 % of forest for the Whole Hispaniola island . In 2023 The Dominican Republic has 40% and Haiti 1%. They came to the border to build an ilegal KPK on a river that is born and die in DR , only enters to that particular part . Despite the 1929 Agreement. Just 2 flooding and look what water did … let’s see . By the way the wall is not the border , the border are the pyramids which the #13 the Haitians tried to break last year . Ayiti : Mentalite Nan boule depuis 1804.
