I remember flying on these regularly on the way to Beirut in the 1990s. Lovely service and food with Olympic. We would take the A340 or sometimes even the B747 from London to Athens and then connect to the B732 onwards to Beirut. This was through the old airport. We would go and swim in-between flights as the old airport was so close to the beach!
I'm kind of giving away my age, a little, because I can remember, when Boeing had first introduced these new 737s to the industry. In the U.S., United Airlines, who was a regularly scheduled service carrier to my home community, had flown one in for inspection by the public, and they conducted tours through it, as it was tied down on the tarmac over a weekend. Believe it or not, there are a few of these B-737-200s still in regular service throughout Northern Canada.
Yes, quite a lot actually. Most are, if not all 737-200s still in regular service and operation in Canada are with select few operators. These are Canadian North, Air North and Air Inuit. Nav Canada also operates one or two of them!

Timothy M I do believe you! As a matter of fact in Canada are Boeing 737-200Adv with gravel kit etc.
I believe there are still one or two of them flying cargo in Hawaii. I saw one over there three years ago nevertheless.
