What a performance from Wawrinka even though he lost. Some glimpses of his old days ! It's astonishing how these guys can still challenge the young generation
Dimi truly gave everything he has in the tank. So proud of him, obviously wish him the title tomorrow, he is a much better player and deserves to go double digits where he got his 1st title. ❤❤❤
Thank you for all the highlights, Stan. I reiterate: Every time Stan hits a backhand winner, the tennis Gods lights a candle against the darkness of grindy tennis.
This bots are so out of touch with reality.....Paul is playing some beautiful Tennis....Two Guys of the tour that have such a brilliant and personal style off play, it will be great Tomorrow...
Some one-handers improvise in defence and hit a two-handed backhand (Thiem and Federer were sometimes doing it, too). Some two-handers improvise in defence and hit a one-handed backhand (this is even much more common). Some right handers even hit a left-handed forehand in these situations. Just do whatever works in tough positions when you have too little time to hit your standard shot.
A large part of his career was spent during the time of the big four and the holy trinity. Also bad luck with the draw and tournament opponents. In other times it might have been different...
For big parts of his career he's been quite bad at getting the job done in tight matches, beating himself by poor shot selection and/or nerves. It felt like he was almost too talented, he couldn't commit to a simple effective game plan and overcomplicated things
Absolutely, i honestly only took notice of his grit and work rate in the previous match against Kecmanovic. A title win is definitely something he needs ryt nw at this point in his career, however im behind Grigor in the final who was equally very impressive against a very aggressive Tallon Griekspoor, however he will need to bring the same level if not higher to this final.
Grigor you da man! Was rooting for Stan the man to make finals too for a battle of the old generation one handers. But at least Grigor made it. This is it folks. There are no more one handers. Grigor isn't good enough to win a Grand Slam but he deserves to win this title to call it a day.
Too much variety from Tommy, Stanimal still had a solid run though-always an honor and pleasure to see his tennis 🇨🇭🫶. Great show of grit and determination from Dimi winning that three setter. He looked a little haggard there at the end of the match, always worried about his health and fragility...Pulling for him in the title match 🙏🇧🇬🤞
If Stan were 15 years younger he would HAVE killed Paul...but alas he's not. Still he played great to make it to the semis! As for Dimitrov a continuation of a really good year! GO GRIGOR!!!!
2 things: When the underdog wins the 1st set, 90 percent of the time they’re gonna be down 2-0 in the 2nd. The letdown effect after the 1st set is nutty. 2nd: Griekspoor and Davidovich have the same strokes. The similarities are crazy.
You know funny thing but I think it might be because they’re using white rackets and the strokes look even more similar. My eyes always see strokes stand out when players use white frames, it’s very odd.
@@gabrielametodieva8360I hope this is supposed to be sarcastic; ADF produces far more RPMs on average than Griekspoor does (at least on the forehand). Neither groundstroke is that similar between the two; if you were watching them play a match, you’d be able to tell pretty quickly who was who if they physically looked similar in any way

Prime Stan the man was a beast. The one hander was a thing of beauty.
Not quite. Back in his day he wins this match. He's a better player than Paul. He was almost Big 4 player beating Big 3 players.
Dimi truly gave everything he has in the tank. So proud of him, obviously wish him the title tomorrow, he is a much better player and deserves to go double digits where he got his 1st title. ❤❤❤
Ça va être compliqué face à paul
Sad to see Wawrinka lose, but his game will always be worth watching
Should have showed the greeting between Dimitrov and Griekspoor in the end it was wholesome.
Yes wish they didn't cut these off
The semi-finalists are all gentlemanly. 👍👍
Great to see Stan showing some good form, hopefully he strings together some wins in Paris
Its up to Grigor to win it now - Avenge Stan!
Thank you for all the highlights, Stan. I reiterate: Every time Stan hits a backhand winner, the tennis Gods lights a candle against the darkness of grindy tennis.
So well put.
Dimitrov's forehand was on fire 💥
Feel bad for Tallon. He always seems to have nerves when serving to stay in a match against top players. Dimitrov did play well tho. Great match.
Don’t feel bad for him he makes 7 figures a year travelling round the world living in luxury hitting a tennis ball.
If your talon makes you to feel bad go for a Doctor 😅😅
Bro it’s the Classic player can’t go to the top,he lose the most important points, the difference between great and normal players it’s this
@@florianb107 because?
@@JKDG24 well if talon hurts, must be hard to walk.
Gritty performance from Grigor 💪
The last few shots of that rally @ 9:38 both of them absolutely destroying the ball
Yeah that was so intense, you could really feel the power in their striking
God, I would love it if Stan can get back to this level more regularly and also get a little momentum going into 2025
This bots are so out of touch with reality.....Paul is playing some beautiful Tennis....Two Guys of the tour that have such a brilliant and personal style off play, it will be great Tomorrow...
10:24 Dimitrov with a 2-handed backhand?
you do what you got to do lol

impossible to hit a one hander with a stance that open
@@amritzelnick Thiem has built a career of hitting fantastic open stance one-handed backhand winners, even from defensive positions.
GOOOOOOO DIMI!!
Stan the Man , what a match that was.
How the heck hasn’t dimitrov not win a grand slam yet.

Stan 😢😢😢😢😢
Grigor😌😌😌😌😌
Tommy Paul is so underrated, such a good player.

Paul & Dimitrov are both fast and strong, superb athelete, they can beat anybody, somehow they couldn't win it all. Rooting for Dimitrov to win in all
Same here!
Stan keeping in shape!
I dont care if he never wins another match again: if Stan is in the highlights, I'm watching.
Stan's backhand is one of the most beautiful shots ever.
Same here!
Wawrinka and Paul - WOW
what an amazing match!
Dimitrov a joy to watch as always, what a comeback it wasn't easy.
Man, Wawrinka's forehand very powerful too. But it's underrated 'cause of his magical backhand
드미트로프 대단하다!
Was sweating bullets at the end luckily the parlay hit
Grigor you da man! Was rooting for Stan the man to make finals too for a battle of the old generation one handers. But at least Grigor made it. This is it folks. There are no more one handers. Grigor isn't good enough to win a Grand Slam but he deserves to win this title to call it a day.

Go Grigor!🔥
GRANDE DIMI !!
Thanks for the memories Stan and see you at Newport when you are inducted
I wanted Grigor vs Stan so bad😭So close to get a one handed finals battle
Dimitrov is a very good pusher.
10:24 most sane Dimitrov 2hander
I’ve seen him return with a two hander against Isner 😂 mans gotta do what he’s gotta do
Grigs grimacing towards the end. Could likely withdraw finals due to injury
Stan needs to drop 15 pounds to really go beast mode
Wawrinka had nothing left in the tank unfortunately
Tommy Paul apologizing for being too good lmao
I think Paul pulls it out in the final but I'd be remiss if I didn't say I want dmitrov to win
If Stan were 15 years younger he would HAVE killed Paul...but alas he's not. Still he played great to make it to the semis! As for Dimitrov a continuation of a really good year! GO GRIGOR!!!!

When will Tommy become Tomas?
🤣
Paul injouable ! Bravo Stan super tournoi :)
Are they wearing watches during the matches?
Wawrinka had no chance against TP's playstyle, he was sending high balls and low balls to his backhand, i knew he lost before opening the video.
Well, given their previous performances this season and age, the odds were against Stan.
Wawrinka is quickly tired
that is how Dimitrow should be hitting his forehand...if he was a little more aggressive it would do a lot of good to his winning percentage
Tommy's looking very hot these days.
Bye Stan! 👋🏻
Why Wawrinka still trying to play? He loses every match
My dog heard the sounds of this video and came over to see if I was okay. Now we watch it together😛
easy win for Tommy tomorrow
Tommy fan but Dimi ain't easy, there is a reason he is top 10 at 32 years old
@lima_plays2492 agreed but he has run out of gas just by looking at match against grispor
I showed this video to my friends and now we have a new ritual of laughing together every night👅
This video is the best way to forget all your problems and just laugh. I recommend it to everyone😛
Logan paul won 😆
Embarrassing from Wawrinka
