Vinyl or rubber base is not permitted and neither is chemically welded seams, which tend to fail in those sirt of applications.

Well I don't know about you m8....but I fitted hard flooring for over 20years ....and I would.nt fit this way
No, you use vinyl cove base, and you dont do seams like that anymore, its a clear solution that welds it together
