Great video as always with some fantastic deals.
Thanks 👍
Nice one Jim
Thanks 👍
Great video- I’ve wanted to take a punt on an electric car for a while and the EQC at that price point is amazing value vs what is has been previously. I don’t know why I am struggling to move away from ICE cars I just feel like we don’t have the proper infrastructure to avoid range anxiety and the faff of the time taken to charge these things.
You should hire one for a few days and co sister that 98% of your charging will be done at home. Nothing is as bad as the click baiters make out.
I had the same issue so went electric and had a shared older petrol car for long trips. It was my comfort blanket and found I don’t use it. 100% electric now for me. Take the plunge. You can always swap back if it doesn’t work.
Takes a tad more planning on longer trips sure but it's so easy. I don't even charge at home and I've never had an issue. I do live near a Tesla station though which helps
Hi JIM, I’ve been on their website and I can’t find the Mercedes deal anywhere. Could you advise? Thanks Ian.
The deals have already been taken I guess. Try again later but looks like you're too late.
Yeah I'm waiting for delivery of my EQC ,@ £345pm for 2 years was too good to pass down
Milage?
Nice one!

Hi Jim. Any deals on Lexus LBX Takumi spec. If you hear of any I'd love to know about them, 12k a year for me though, which is sometimes where it falls over on the leasing side.
Nothin go amazing when I made this video or it would be on here - keep your eye on LeaseLoco 👍
Been a company car driver and now going first time leasing what i have found is the better the deal is the higher the finance approval threshold
It’s no different to mortgages or loans, the best deals are for the best risks.
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru the issue is the best deals have so high criteria so you got to be a home owner and and 999 score
They start filtering out not on first come first serve but on who has best score
@@vkjfv not quite that extreme but you’re never going to get the best finance if you don’t have a great history. Leasing is no different to anything else in that respect.
Love the vids! Would it be possible to move yourself over to the bottom left so we can see the figures on the right side please
No. Right hand side of the screen gets cut off anyway so you wouldn’t see much.
Just looking again at the EQC, which I’ve been dithering over for a few weeks, while weighing up the pros and cons of it vs the Lexus RZ, and the deal has gone. ☹️
Must be quicker next time. 😁
No!! Try again tomorrow.
do you expect to see any change in the model 3 anytime soon?
It’s impossible to guess with anything Tesla does but I’d expect it to be a while yet.
I would definitely fancy a Nissan Ariya vs the same money for a little iD3..!!
Me too!
Just coming to the end of a 3 year lease of the Beemer M135i but £513 still nowhere near what Arnold Clark were knocking them out for 3 years ago.. the one i took was a 6+35, 10k miles servicing & tyres included for £340/mth.. bargain. Nice car but gearbox lets it down.
3 years in cars is a long time
Yep those days of deals are long gone unfortunately
Hi Jim,
I’m sure this has been asked before…
Out of interest, why do you choose to pitch the figures with an upfront cost?
Is it not better to only have the one month up front? Is it because the majority do pay up front?
I’m currently looking on a daily basis, but filter by one month up front only, otherwise it’s not reflecting the true cost per month to me, either that or should be saving the additional money per month ready to cover the up front payment next time round.
So I do the 3 months up front 3 year 10k simply because it is the most common lease profile in the UK and I don’t see the point in these silly “it’s only £150” but is a 5 year deal on 5k per year with £10k upfront deals - I think the 3+35/10k is more relatable for most.
When I go away from that profile it’s because there is an especially good deal advertised on a different profile. Some deals for example are way better value on a different number of years or with a different upfront payment - that may sometimes only be due to the fact that the broker has only listed one profile though (rather than listing all options).
Generally I don’t see much difference between different upfront amounts when you average everything out over the full term of the lease.
Common sense suggests that the higher the upfront the better it would work out (as, in theory, there is less finance involved) but it’s not always the case so always run the sums for yourself.
@@DefinitelyNotAGuruJim, thanks for your time to reply. All makes sense thanks.
Keep up the great work with your content. Thank you.
@@JimDutthanks for watching 👍
Hey! You should shout out the Tesla Model Y, £399 a month for 3 years, 9 months upfront. A solid deal direct from Tesla
Yeah, I have before and given my Tesla referral code to make it even better
What is the discount code
www.tesla.com/en_gb/referral/james140432 the offer changes quite regularly, not sure what it is at the moment
The deals just keep coming, some of the prices are just unbelievable keep up good work
Thanks! Will do!
how do you check the price history?
Price history tab in bottom left of screen 👍
Send them to Ireland - we are being screwed x2
So I understand. Nuts eh?
Why has the merc ecq dropped in price so much?
ZEV mandate I would guess
Might also be to do with them being discontinued until the new model arrives next year.
Yeah, probably still a bit early for an end of line sale.
