This episode was mad wild, and I really enjoyed it. The way everything was played out was spot on. In other words, this was probably the best revenge Sand did, even though he acted out of anger, and it led to Ray clocking out everyone in Yo's bar. And yessss Shaqii, this reminds me of when Mike from Why Did I Get Married was clocking out everyone's secrets at the dinner table! While I think he could have said all of this on another day and not Mew's birthday but as of right now, things had to be said, and I feel him. And i really hate to admit this, but Boston has a point to where if Mew and Top break up, Ray would hope he has a chance with Mew because he's still in love with him. It's sad how that's the truth. He knows he doesn't have a chance with Mew, but as a friend, he cares about him too. He's surrounded by all of these couples, and everyone has secrets and not being honest themselves. I also clapped and squealed at Mew, planning to be romantic with Top until he found out the truth about him. Mew wouldn't be mad if Top slept with someone else he doesn't know. BUT he's definitely angry that Top lied to him AND slept with Boston on top of that. Top and Boston deserve each other, and I'm waiting for when Mew turns villain or when he plays a Joker role on them. I can't wait to see how that plays out. More drama to unfold, I'm excited 👏🏼

I don't think, Mew will turn as a villain as people think, instead he will sleep with someone to hurt Top too, the way i see it Top Mew & Boston story line is going to be as SamEarth & Stud from " Friend zone the series both seasons " Coz both series are from one director P'Jojo and I see similarities, the only difference is that this series is mainly BL series and the other one was ALL in one( BL, GL, straight couples).
@@NaswidaNalunjogiI hope they don’t go that route as for him to actually sleep with someone else. Flirting or giving the illusion of sleeping with someone would be plot related. However I think to actually have him sleep with someone will ultimately only hurt Mew. I don’t want Mew to get hurt.
I also think it would be awful if Mew and Ray hooked up now. It would only muddy the waters for everyone.
With Mew sleeping with Ray or anyone in general, just to spite Top wouldn't make it better, and it wouldn't be mature of him. The way the episode 7 preview was showing Mew's face, he's got something up his sleeve to get back at Top and Boston.

Ray's scene in the bar was iconic and his acting 🤌but we gotta appreciate mew's acting too in the ending scene with top and how he manages to convey what he feels just through his facial expressions ngl i was impressed
About boston i really wish for someone to expose boston so bad cz when his turn came in the bar scene i was scared but existed at the same time i was like pls ray do your thing and expose his ass in front of all them people watching i also get why boston he is the way he is man got his bad attitude from his dad who's messier than him

Ik we all know how brilliant neo, khao and first acting on this series but i really gonna applause book acting on this ep. He stole the show. The whole mew confrontation scene was epic. Book really served with how mew would act when he is angry.
For mew, It scares me how he still able to acting calmly pretend nothing happen, even being cuddly with top.
His confrontation was soo well delivered. The line "..where? ..When? ..When was that?" give me chills. Mew expression started with dissapointment then turned into rage, explaining how his insecurity was turned to be true. And he found out on HIS FKING BIRTHDAY

I was shocked and speechless that not only we called when we said that mew would have something planned for top when he finds out what he did, I am literally excited for what's going to happen in the next episode, especially what mew's going to do and when Boston gets his ass beat. I really this episode, it was wild, and the bar scene had my jaw drop to the floor, I can't wait to see what unfolds next week. 👀🍵🔥

Right after the bathroom scene, I watched Mew’s demeanor. He wasn’t smiling when everyone was singing. So, that leads me to believe that Ray told him about Top and Boston in the privacy of the bathroom. I agree with you and Alyssa that Ray and Mew planned the whole scene in hashing out everyone’s issues. Ray would be the bad guy in front of Top so that Mew could follow through with the big reveal in private. Classic!😂😂😂
I don’t think it was planned between them for Ray to go off. I think he did it because he saw Mew after he told him cuddling up to Top. I think Ray thought maybe Mew wouldn’t be able to confront Top so he would do it for him. Mew only stopped Ray with a punch because he was very close to spilling the tea to Top. Mew wanted to do it in private not in front of everyone at the bar. Also Mew is unaware that just about everyone knows already.
Go sand I absolutely love him in this episode he's right people like top don't change❤
I don't think it was there plan, I think Ray thought Mew would act on it right away.

If you see right after the bathroom scene, where everybody is singing along to the music you can find Mew the only one not enjoying that moment. So, it meant he knew something 😁.
i love ray's acting
At the end of the day, telling Mew was the right thing to do. Damn the consequences, and damn the possibility that others might think he did it for his own benefit. It's been well established that even though Ray is in love with Mew, he still loves him enough as a friend to do what he can to ensure he is happy. I won't say he was right in blowing up the friend group, but his intentions were reasonable. My only issue with the whole thing is, if Ray already told Mew about Boston and Top before the blowup, why did he blow up anyway? It might have been just the mix of alcohol and frustration, but I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was deliberately staged by Mew and Ray. I am still hoping for Mew's villain arc, and to find out that the scene in the bar was a plan all along. To make Top think that Mew would choose him over Ray and lull him into a feeling of complacency and victory (because he won Mew) just so he could cut him deeper with the reveal he knew everything.

I really struggled with watching this series at the beginning because of how problematic the characters were. As a licensed, clinician that deals mostly with the lgbtq 🏳️🌈 community and being a part of the community, it struck a nerve. It is normally my job to deal with these types of real life scenarios. It’s truly heartbreaking at times but also rewarding.
The series has turned the corner for me. I can do start to do character deconstruction and reconstruction.
Questions…
Sand:
Why does Sand like Ray?
What was his motivation in gaining the audio?
Was it to give it to Ray who he knows likes Mew?
Was it to reveal Top and Boston ? Was it to truly warn Mew who he thinks is a nice guy?
Was it revenge on Top for stealing his lover?
Was it revenge on Boston for ruining his birthday?
All of the above?
I will go with a combination of consciously getting back at Top 🔝, but subconsciously trying to push Ray away for self preservation !
Sand is classic “Fixer”! People with a fixer mentality have a need to “save” others and think they know how to solve everyone's problems. These kinds of people are usually insecure and feel self worth when they help others.
They often can’t fix their own lives but actively try to make other’s lives better.
They also will push others away for self preservation when someone gets too close or hits a nerve.
Rewatch his conversation with his mother. Very revealing to his the inner mind working of this character.
Sand fits this mold. He is very relatable.
Ray:
Ray’s perceptions are not based in reality, there are skewed by alcoholism and drug use. It intensifies with his post traumatic disorder, childhood. This is a common trait in substance abuse users and PTS survivors.
I believe it would be a wonderful opportunity to actually highlight mental health because there are a lot of young people out there who are watching. If they see themselves, or someone that they know, at least to see it could be planted for professional help.
Since I know, this is not a public service announcement series, the best I can hope for is that he does like some sort of help so that he can get clarity to what is truly going on in his life and get direction for a healthier self!
Mew:
Mew has two moms and describes a loving and secure family unit. I love that! This gives a new dimension to Mew because he is grew up as a part of the LGBTQ community. When you grow up in the 🏳️🌈 community, you grow up with a different kind of awareness.
Mew may have been a virgin but he isn’t naive!
Why do I think that? Mew pulled off knowing what the audio held from the scene in the bathroom at the club.
Was the punch before or after he received the recording?
So if the punch happened before… it mashed the most sense.
However if not… then the punched was more of “kill the messenger”!
Yet he had enough cognitive ability to bide his time and waiting for epic reveal!
He revealed it in Aces. He also nailed it Spades ♠️ at the end with his dialogue.
Every word was believable and felt real.
I truly feel Mew likes/loves Top. I think he was very honest in Ep 5 when he said he would sleep with him because he was afraid that Top would get bored with him.
I thought a lot about this since last week. Why did Mew call Boston and tell him about having going to sex with Top? What would have motivated him to have done that at first I thought it was the only friend he thought he could discuss this with. However, I think he was a little bit more savvy. He definitely wanted to put a STAKE 🪧 that Top was his choice.
I think he might’ve actually did that subconsciously, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Mew’s character has already decided Top was who he wanted.
Mew knew the stakes 🪧 were high and he is trying to control his own destiny.
I don’t think that Mew was trying to be overly manipulative, I believe he just wanted his first time to be special and with somebody that he cared about.
I especially liked how his character apologized to Top for being hard to get. He was simply being honest that he wanted to it to be and feel special.
Top:
I do believe that Top is genuine in his feelings. He may not have truly started out that way, but I believe that this isn’t just an act.
His birthday gift was very revealing to his inner mind. To have sketch those pictures as detailed as he did, is the work of somebody who has been INSPIRED by somebody else.
He has mentioned several times that he likes the person that Mew has inspired him to be.
His tears at the end is evidence that he knows that he fucked up. I believe they have set up his redemption arc.
Given the circumstances, and how they played out, i’m conflicted about. Did he really cheat? They were definitely talking but they were not official, nor had been intimate.
So professionally, I would be comfortable working with a couple who wanted to mend a relationship such as this as long as each party was honest.
I think forgiveness and trust could be reestablished, but it would take quite a bit of work. I see the scenario play out quite often, some couples make it and some don’t.
Boston:
Now who I could not forgive, and who I would recommend a client to cut contact with, would be Boston. This is destructive behavior. I believe all of this stems from his narcissism. He wants what he wants and he doesn’t care who it will affect or what he has to do to get it. It’s pretty hard to maintain a friendship or a relationship with someone who only considers their own feelings, desires and wants.
I’m not sure that he has a redemption arc in his future. I’m okay with that.
Nick:
I think Nick is starting to see the writing on the wall, and doesn’t quite know what to do with it. He is still struggling to hold on, but with news that Boston may be moving to New York, and the reality of who Boston really is starting to set in. OMG his facial expressions were so on 🎯!
I still think we are going to see some shenanigans with him trying to get Boston to love him, and I can see some potential revenge to get back at him.
However, I’m no longer convinced that he is going to be the mastermind that undoes Boston. Right now, he is sadly pathetic butI do an awakening in his future! I see him more as the person who realizes who Boston is and tries to save himself.
In the original trailer, they have Nick kissing some other guy. I think he is going to get a redemption arc and that he moves on.
The Lesbians:
Well they had a moment that actually felt real. Ray was an asshole disclosing the conversation that friends have among one another. This falls into the don’t tell and yet another cautionary tale to not talk 💩 about your friends when you drink. 🍺 🍹 🍸
Ok just a little more analysis on Only Friends…
Boston:
We did get some backstory. His father is affluent and it is alluded to a messy love life. Learned behavior .
He is definitely asking Biaton to settle down and but be like him.
He also supports Boston going to the 🇺🇸.
Boston does seem his fathers approval.
No mention of mother, as of now.
Boston when confronted by Ray definitely started with excuses. He met him first, he had sex before he even knew Mew, he wanted more, blah blah blah!
Top:
Lived a lonely childhood as both parents were always working.
He envied the childhood that Mew described him as warm, secure and loving.
When confronted with the recording, he didn’t back pedal with excuses of what happened. He could have disclosed that Boston showed him a video of Ray and Mew kissing and he felt he was being played. However in the end, he listened to Mew’s heart breaking words with regret, guilt and pain, that was visible on his face.
I think both actors nailed their scene. So much so, this felt like a real couple coming into the office because this played out very realistically.
Mew:
He was proud to show a picture of his two moms. He described that he felt so loved by his moms and friends that he didn’t seek out a lover.
This is essential to understanding what a sound base Mew has. He is not looking for anyone to complete him but to compliment him.
I do not know if the script Writer is gay and has children… however I like to think they do because they nailed what a confident young adult would look like. Hooray for gay parenting that produces loving and secure young adults.
I like to think gay parenting really taught our kids to stand up for what they believe in, not to afraid to be different, how to blend when needed, how to be assertive and not aggressive, basically secure well rounded loving and caring human beings who can see the world very clearly. They have had to learn to not only adapt to their surroundings but to create their own destiny.
I know my children both see things through different lens and they are much more aware of different perspectives and scenarios of human behavior.
I see the same characteristics in Mew and I absolutely love that!
Note 📝 I may be reading too much into Mew’s character because he is a product of gay parenting and well hip hip hooray for US in the trenches!
Ray:
Well he is problematic, because anyone who is struggling with substance abuse is not going to be on the top of their game. He lacks clarity and definition to his life.

I love your comment. I swear that therapists are the best at breaking down dramas, there was a therapist who wrote about F4 Thailand and had fantastic insights. I agree with everything you say here with the addition that Sand's behavior in getting the recording and passing it to Ray was literally criminal and ultimately self destructive behavior.

I was waiting on you guys! I knew one that part hit you were going to love it! Mew set up was priceless! 33:51 even if it could be misinterpreted it is still the right thing, to do as a friend, to tell Mew. Who cares if Ray is in love with him and hopes for a relationship, he can still be a good friend too.
Except for kissing Mew when he was asleep Ray haven't done anything wrong or tried to sabotage between Mew and Top. He have questioned the relationship and made it clear he doesn't trust or like Top but that is what a good friend would do too and he have still supported Mew in his relationship with Top.
Sand though manipulated Ray because he knows Ray likes Mew and Ton tried to manipulate him not to tell because of his feelings and that Ray doesn't wanna hurt Mew.
Mew punch ray was totally in his right ray already showed mew the recording mew had probably came up with a plan to deal with top by himself and ray trying to out top in front of everyone pissed mew off , again ray didn't give mew the chance to deal with things himself he always trying to make decisions for mew also I don't know why ray was so persistent on outing top in front of everyone was it to prove that top is not a good person or boyfriend lie they always praise him to be 🤔 knowing mew ray should've known mew doesn't like the attention on to him 😑

The way I just knew stuff would go down, the way Ray and Ton kept glaring and side eyeing each other.
This was a wild episode but a favorite of mine because once again Khaotung acting, he was hurt and more than likely thought mew didn't believe him, he's been hurt by everyone and yeah all the couples had secrets. I think mew punched Ray because he already had a plan after they had the talk but maybe Ray was ruining the plan . Mew believes Ray, seeing the trailer and his crazy gaze under the water means he might come up with a plan to get back at Top or Boston. Sand will probably always be there for RAy because he is the only one constant enough to show he cares and will stick around no matter how many times he's pushed away.
Boston literally films his "favorite" sex partners but it is wrong when others do it to him because his dad is a politician. Nick out here trying to act innocent, when he called him out i was happy but he will always be manipulated by Boston.
The way he didn't even deny sleeping around and his flings popping up, or the fact that he is evil for exposing and outing Ray and Sand at the party like not you blaming the edibles.
honestly Boston is the only person O don't feel is being genuine or hon est about who they like or want to be with because they want to act cool and not ruin their own reputation.
I do find it interesting that they believe that Ton can get a boyfriend but not one person believes in Ray ( personally i think they are bad friends because they don't try to help him, they only enable him). I get everyone has their own problems but you go to the bar and party every day or every week and then expect him to not drink, they don't even try to make sure he get's home safely.

I think its important to point out that Ray doesn't do everything because he wants Mew. He is pissed at Top because he hurt someone he loves, Ray isn't going to tell Mew because he wants to be with him but because Mew deserved the truth. Ray isn't trying to win Mew over or have him, that ended when they had the serious conversation at Mews place. Ray isn't going to just stop caring about Mew though just because they wont become anything. Ray still loves Mew as a friend and will always care so much about him because of what Mew has done for Ray. Ray is as pissed as he is because Ray chose to not intervene and trust Top with Mew and yet Top hurt Mew, in one of the worst ways too.

Now this episode is an example of what actors can do. Bravo. This is what you get when you let them be adults. GMMTV stop wasting the talent these actors have in High School settings.
Lets not forget that Ray was drunk and potentially high, and to him he just thought that even after he told Mew the truth, he still chose Top. Ray lost it after that, everyone is constantly lying around him, Top hurting Mew and Mew still staying with him (to Ray that's what it looks like), He has whole addictions he deals with, his life time of trauma bearing down on his shoulders, his and Sands relationship being rocky and not to mention Boston and Cheum constantly throwing Mew in his face as if Ray isn't literally trying to move on and has even succeeded at a certain length. There is no surprise at all that he lost it, no one would be able to handle all that. and to make it worse when he does lost it AGAIN Cheum throws Rays trauma AND Mew at him, as if Rays words are invalid because he liked Mew and bc of trauma. AND the fact that Mew punched Ray, hurting Ray in every way possible (ofc that was just so Ray would be quiet and not tell everyone what happened, Mew isn't actually resenting him). So of course when Sand goes after him to take care of him and then lowkey borderline confesses, he isn't in the right place to deal with all of that so he just explodes and does anything to have Sand get off of him which is calling him a name and pushing him. You can see as he enters his car its immediate guilt and regret. Ray was not in a place to deal with all of that when Sand goes after him. And Sand of course probably being the only mf that understands Ray these days and actually sees Rays worth, he doesn't think Ray is this awful person. Just someone that needs, and Sand want to give. There is no way Sand wouldn't go after Ray, and not just because of that. We already know Sand clearly has some background with driving under the influence, You should see as Sand sat down and went to go after Ray that he was genuinely scared. It makes perfect sense that Ray acted the way he did and if anyone was in his shoes they wouldn't have done much different if anything at all, and its not crazy at all that Sand went after Ray. He is the only one atm that truly and genuinely empathizes and s e e s Ray for who he is and not just some broken sad burden.

Whats insane is how Boston just cant fanthom that someone isn't as selfish as him. There is just no way to him that Ray puts Mews wellbeing above his own feelings. To Boston Ray is just pretending but he actually isn't. The difference is that Ray truly and honestly care and love Mew as his friend and he respects him as a person. Ray knows that he isn't the one to make Mew happy by dating and he is okay with that, he has accepted that even if it stings. Boston thinks Ray is waiting for Mew and Top to break up when in reality Ray just wants nothing but for Mew to be happy, that is it, and that's all its ever been about. He wouldn't mind them breaking up, but not because he wants Mew but because Ray doesn't trust Top and think he will hurt Mew. During the entire time Mew and Top has been together Ray has never tried to stop them form being together or intervened. Because Mew told him how he felt for Top and Ray got to know Mew is happy for him. Which is why he will let his feelings be hurt and keep them to himself, because Mew is happy. Ray just want his friend that has cared and been there for him, to be happy and have love, even if that isn't with Ray, he is fine with that. It's just insane that Boston goes around throwing Ray liking Mew around and that Ray has some plan to get Mew when thats just such reach its dumb. Ray want Mew to be happy, if that is with Top then okay. Ray has accepted that he is just a friend to Mew and thats okay. Plus Ray is literally moving on from Mew and has started to have something for Sand. The whole interaction between Ray and Boston just shows how little Boston knows about Ray or understands him. Boston is obsessed with control and "power" in the sense of he want to be superior. So he has never actually been the guys friend, he is just their companion, time spender, when it pleases him. The dude is so fucked up in his head he just cant understand not everyone is as self-centered and egoistic as him.

I see it time and again for characters not following the committed monogamous script and it’s sad and weird. Ironically it’s this attitude that makes non-conforming people feel unsafe to come out, hide away and in worst case scenarios be tempted to be sneaky because - fuck it, everyone has decided not to give you a chance and you’re a dick already.
