Is this the link to the 7" Gingher scissors? Gingher Dressmaker's Fabric Scissors with Protective Sheath - 7" Stainless Steel Shears - Sharp Knife Edge Fabric Scissors - Silver. I have small hands and plan to buy just one since I am new to sewing, do you recommend 7" over 8" for ease of use?
I still have the Fiskars I bought when they first came out? When I was first aware of them, at any rate. You didn't mention pinking shears. Am I a freak for having them? And yes I will go look for Kai scissors!
There is nothing wrong with having pinking shears. I personally don't have them and have never used them. I prefer other methods for treating raw seam edges.
The gingher scissors come in a left-handed design (amzn.to/3syMlkX). The handles of the pink and purple Kai scissors don't favor either side. Am I answering this correctly? I don't know everything to look for in a left-handed pair of scissors.
@@PaigeHandmade Most scissors out there are for the right handed, and this cuts nothing if you use with left hand (because the scissors usually have one-hand favored handles and blades).

How do you sharpen scissors?
You can use a scissor sharpening tool, a sharpening stone, or take them to a knife sharpener.
