43.2% looks like this one is Distillers's Cut. Most of Scotch at 43% is still chillfiltred but this one not, interesting. There is also 100% rye at few quid more in the uk very light quite different than classic american rye we know. cheers 🥂🙋🏻♂️
Currently on sale at the LCBO for $36.50 out the door. Is it worth it? LCBO blurb: "Left to mature in selected American oak where it develops a spicy/rounded flavour. Bright amber/gold; aromas of baking spices, vanilla, toasted oak and citrus, with notes of pepper and sweet grain; light honey and cereal on the palate, with a pleasing warmth followed by toffee, spice, tree fruit and ginger notes."
I love this man

It may take a bit of time for the spices to settle down so that I can get to the other flavors...
@@christinecamley This was the first whisky of my night... Maybe that's why the spice hit me so hard. I'm giving it a chance to settle down a bit.
Powers gold is a pretty good daily sipper. It's only about 40 bucks here in Ontario
It does a great job at that.
A very good Irish for 40$CA in Ontario (tax included)
It's not worth more in my opinion...
Have you tried Blue Run?
No, but I can go looking for it. Is Blue Run from Powers?
