I love the fact that she’s so well read and not just into what I call “candy floss” books, by which I mean books with pretty covers with no real substance. I also love how she has books dotted all around the house. 🙌 The best shelf portrait I’ve seen on here thus far.
We did get addicted to this during covid. Trying to see in the background what's on people's bookshelves. She is beautiful, smart, a great actress, and now I know she's well-read too!
One of best shelf portraits. Love that she takes you around her house to find favourite books. Sign she really loves reading. I've added some of her suggestions to my growing tbr.
Dante, Shakespeare, and Emily Dickinson. And she tried to present a couple of books from different categories/genres, if you noticed, without being concentrated on classics entirely.
you're well read only when you read a myriad of books from various genres. she talked about classics, memoirs, popular literature, essays, so on and so forth. you don't ONLY have to concentrate on classical literature :)
I feel like this is one of the few celebrities in shelf portrait who genuinely seems like an every day reader (and has been one for a long time) to me

Love this. Loved her in ER growing up and loved watching this as a bibliophile. ❤📚
Smiled my way through this. Could the woman be any more fabulous? A reader even! Heavenly, and some of the recommendations I'll definitely seek out.
Love shelf portraits! This was one of the best!

Nothing from the true classics. How?
Dante was there.
Because people like different things...?
Dante, Shakespeare, and Emily Dickinson. And she tried to present a couple of books from different categories/genres, if you noticed, without being concentrated on classics entirely.
Balzac / Faulkner / Dostoïevski / Stendhal ...
