And the recent Jokic remarks. As well as Phil Jackson asking Kobe to do less so Shaq felt like he was getting more done.
He has also admitted he relied a bit too much on his natural gifts as opposed to sharpening his skills. So for me personally, cool dude and incredible talent but he gets a bit too much in his feels about certain things and lashes out negatively. Which makes me less of a fan.

The thing is that as our favorite athletes get old, we also get old. Following a career makes you reflect on your own mortality a bit. You also come to terms at some point that your life is a certain way, and whatever you accomplish, it eventually turns to dust with you and eventually you're completely forgotten.
Before I leave anybody with a sense of existential dread, that doesn't mean life is meaningless. We live for our own satisfaction, for our friends and family, and every once in a while for a stranger, and for the 0.01% of us great enough to be athletes, the fans.

Refreshing that he knew it. We all knew it. Shaq was no wheee close to the player he was when he was in Boston. Diesel’s dominance was behind him.

Shaq in his prime was the most dominant force EVER on a court. I would say best big but I think jokic is just better. I think shaq agrees

It’s the reverse for me. For many reasons (self esteem mainly) I didn’t play hs ball. I’m now 31 practicing daily because all I think about is about is, “why the f***” It’s horrible cuz I’m pretty good. But it makes me think if I could do it now why DIDNT I?😢
