    OMG ❕I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am that I found this video ,it’s short and straight to the point. You have told us what to use, what media to use, whereas I have been searching everywhere for what is it that you use when you mix with regular clay ,what is that liquid ?is it liquid Clay ?
    I don’t know because nobody is putting into the video what exactly they’re using ,and the media that they’re using so I am so grateful 🦋🌸🦋💜

    hello. Thank you for sharing. So nice and beautiful. Could you tell me how you do to make the clay "strong"? When I cut the clay in small pieces it is so sticky that when I mix my pieces with others I don't have the same results as yours. Same when you get teh "ball square". When I cut to get big square it destroys the square. Thank you so much for your answer. Best regards

  • @carolynwolford8150
    @carolynwolford8150 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    First of all, these are gorgeous! Question…I tried this with darker colors. When I cut the pieces and laid them out, there seemed to be lots of blotches of the acrylic paint. Do you think I used too much paint or maybe not let it dry long enough? How long does it need to dry and how do I know when the paint inside is dry? Just learning all this! Thanks!

    • @heartboxclayworks
      @heartboxclayworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you like it! Regarding the blotches there's a lot of factors that can cause it and I'm not sure which one is the cause. You can try putting a baking paper on top of the cut pieces so that when you use the roller the paint will not spread. Also try to let it dry overnight. If this still not work maybe my other tutorial video might help (i will put the link below). In the video I use black paint on white clay, what I did to removed the blotches is I sand the baked pieces.

  • @GodsChild77_

    Sanding in water, That's ingenious!
    These earrings will be pressed against the skin. With the resin, is that safe for the skin?
    Also why not add the holes before baking?

    • @heartboxclayworks
      @heartboxclayworks  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! the resin is only at the front it won’t touch the skin and adding holes in raw clay may cause deformation and drilling after baking gives a cleaner hole.

      You will need to purchase one... Toaster ovens work too but they have a tendency to burn the clay. They will be fine if you purchase an oven thermometer. It's good to use with a kitchen oven and a toaster oven. Be sure too to line the tray with a ceramic tile and paper (paper won't burn at 275F) and tent the dish with tinfoil. The thermometer is the best aid to keep the clay from burning. Goodluck!
