Union Home Minister Amit Shah has urged the credibility be checked of claims made by former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik in a recent interview. Malik had made critical remarks about the BJP-led Centre, especially regarding its handling of Jammu and Kashmir, where he served as the last governor before the erstwhile state was bifurcated into Union territories. “The BJP hasn’t done anything that needs to be hidden. The issue should not be discussed in a public forum. If he had information about irregularities, he should have spoken during his tenure. Why is he making such claims now? This calls for a credibility check,” Union Home Minister Amit Shah said while speaking at the India Today Karnataka Roundtable 2023

It was Mr.Mallick himself who reported that he has been offered a bribe of 300 crs to CBI for which CBI is investigating. Govt has no role in it Ma'am. Pls check facts before questioninh the credibility of anyone. And Secondly, it is impossible to shift every soldier through helicopter. Mr.Mallick has uttered non sense to get media lime light. I am in that field. Thirdly, army and CAPF is present in JnK for area dominance. It ll look weaker if we resort even a minor chunk through transport aircraft ( which bdw we don't have).

It was Mr.Mallick himself who reported that he has been offered a bribe of 300 crs to CBI way back in 2021 for which CBI is investigating. Govt has no role in it.
