Combi Line for CLT and Glulam Production

This efficient high/radio frequency production line with its specially designed layup system allows the manufacturing of two different product types in one and the same system: CLT and glulam.
This enables an extended product range and increased capacity without requiring additional space.
The advantages of using high/radio frequency curing are short pressing cycles and increased capacity - the ideal solution for order-based production.

Didn"t see any glue

Hi, I have a question. When pressing the panel with all the components, I see that there is a lateral press appied to edges. How do you control the joints to be fully closed in all other directions?

Hi Raúl,
There is a clamp holding the panel front while the individual cross layers are pushed together from the back, which closes the gaps.

This seems like a waste of space and time. Why do the boards move back and forth if you could've put the horizontal and vertical boards on at the same location?

This specific solution where the lamstock moves under a glue applicator is the one our customer has chosen.
You are right, solutions where the length and cross layer of lamstock is placed at the same location is also a possibility, and we have made this for other customers - with vacuum gantries and movable glue applicators.
Every solution from Kallesoe is custom made so that it fits the customers need.
