Sorry but our experience at the Watergate was less than wonderful. $587 for drinks and appetizers at the igloo bar. Service was mediocre at best. At that price we expected so much more. Our three night stay ($483/night) at the Watergate was equally disappointing. I think we got caught up in the name “Watergate”. I have to say we won’t be visiting here again and we definitely DO NOT recommend this property.
I agree. I used to work there and a lot of the staff are unhappy and eightfully so. Pay cuts and heavy workload so it bleeds over into the service delivery. Owners are somewhat disengaged and turnover us very Hugh there.
