The ship of Theseus must be one of my favorite paradoxs because personally it helps me to find the middle point of things, an example of this is sleeping, I used to not sleep well at all and then became the exact opposite by having a super strict sleep schedule, neither of those things were good for me because I was basiclly imprisoning myself, so at the end the ship of Theseus is the repaired ship the Theseus and we should think more like that
while yes nier and stellar blade are very similar games i do prefer to play nier over stellar blade because the story and gameplay i feel are a bit better in nier, for instance; while both have a dialogue about humanity and what makes something human i think nier does it better in no small part to its additional length however they do take different routes to come to pretty different conclusions, overall I'm a bigger fan of niers story. as for the gameplay i think stellar blade has a few things that feel a little bit clunky like the dodging for example. with that said i still enjoy playing both games and both are incredibly good games, i just prefer to play nier overall. i hope that clears up some confusion as to why i chose to play nier instead of stellar blade.
