2024 looks better for the most part. I think that it definitely blows past 2020 in terms of scenery, but I'm not 100% on how the airplane looks. I feel like that is still a bit subjective. Either way, I definitely prefer 2024!
@@TheAviationChannel.- all the 2024 features, (less aerodynamic surfaces, no tire inflation or deflation, no walk around, no 3D engine rotation simulation like dcs)
Ok, so it's brighter, and the colour balance is more towards the blue/purple range than the yellow/greenish tinge of 2020. I still can't work out why that's 'better' though?
Better performance, better visuals, better physics' better. Only downside being the streaming of aircraft and scenery makes everything blurry from time to time.
@@TheAviationChannel. I think this will improve by the time but is that really better in performance I have gtx1660ti I'm very concerned if I bought it I may don't be able to fly due to fps. What do you advise me to do?
I'd say the use of photogrammetry really helped the realism of MSFS 2024 because it looks simply but very well detailed in general. MSFS 2020 has a lot of scattering of random objects and many displacements, and lights weren't as accurate without the help of addons. Despite some of the problems in MSFS 2024, the developments that are gonna be coming up are gonna make the sim so much better
Don’t forget lighting, shadows, and flight model. Flight model is there as so far only iniBuild is taking advantage of it. Once Fenix and PMDG start to take full advantage of the flight model capabilities the sim will be on another level!
But its not playable on xbox series x. No textures on planes are loading, performance problems, and when i try to start the engine with controller, it doesnt work..
How to download and install FBW A380 in 2024 pls make on video As i am new to msfs I didn't play 2020 So i dont know how to install Pls make one video 🙏
I used to watch out of my window and compare that to my msfs 2020 live weather, and it looked totally off. Way too orange, saturated and warm, 2024 is MUCH better
Why does it look completely the same? Only different filter? The MSFS2020 colours are much better. And yes I see the autumn/fall trees against green trees, but I have the rex accuseasons in MSFS2020 so it looks the same. So I really dont see any difference.
All the clips in this comparison were recorded at the exact date, month and time. Shows how improved MSFS2024's weather and lighting engine is.

i like it too already, and the thing is.. it will get sooo much better over the months and years.. awesome times ahead
If you have used the FBW A380 in 2020 then it's the exact same on 2024
@@TheAviationChannel. I know. I just mean the way the textures react in 2024 is different. More shades of pink, lighter, more vibrant in '24.
@@philiporbesz6410if they would fix the lag issues!!!!!

@@TheAviationChannel. That would be quite a big downside if you've just spent 10 hours on a long haul flight, and everything looks blurry on arrival.

@@Capt_Ahmed.Ibrahim you only need a solid 30. the optimization is perfect. running a solid 90 on the rtx 4060
Because it's more realistic? I'm sure you've flown before the world does not look this saturated like 2020.
how to install itii 2024? community folder?

The biggest improvement here seems to be the clouds, seasons, and the water.

Please stop using an xbox to flight sim!
Do not forget they now have seasons so it impacts also colour gradients in clouds and other things.
how's performance?
Performance is much much better than 2020. The only downside being the data streaming.
How did you achieve a pixel-perfect, exact same route on two different flights? Sus.
@@ClevaTreva it's called replay😑
@@TheAviationChannel. Ah, so you can use Replay in a different version of the sim? - never knew that. Is that with the in-built FCR?
And is that on VATSIM? Just trying to compare it since I am trying to resolve some issues with my A380X. Thanks for the vid btw!
Nope it's free flight. Try using Development version instead of the stable or experimental
@ ok thanks!
Is A380 already ported to MSFS2024?
Nope
development build should work
what do you do to have the A380 working in msfs 2024?
Just install using the FBW installer. Point the instant directory towards msfs2024 community folder

what I disliked about 2020 is that the approach lights are usually too bright. it's kinda odd.
But thankfully it has changed.
ARPC for 2020 makes kinda similar look to 2024
What are your pc specs?
They in the description mate👌

2024 is better but I still think 2024 is over bright and littlecwashed out. Somewhere between the two I think would be a sweet spot.
2020 was way too dark during sunrise and sunset
2024 wayy better and yess the downside of blurry secenery is the streaming :(
Once it is completely fixed, it will be solved.
@burgadahz17 yeaa
guys…..simple texture filtering question..nothing more

colour accuracy in 2020 is horrid without filters lmao, even small changes like having it out of the box goes a long way.
2020 is better
The ground textures still look awful in 2024, hopefully they stop throttling them soon
