The influencers ruined it. You’re right. And you’ve been saying that for years now! Idk it just feels like a lot of people can’t even afford food and influencers are shoving this sale down our throats. I can’t be bothered to care about this sale when it has been so hard to keep my head above water! (Love your channel tho that’s why I’m commenting my support. Just my 2c)

Last year during the sale there was a Splendid cropped jacket which I didn’t purchase. As summer wore on, I decided I wanted it but assumed eventually it would go on sale again as the season drew to a close. Boy was I wrong. Even at full price, it sold out. Lesson learned. You are correct: the better quality brands won’t necessarily get marked down.
Yes! Go for the better brands now or at least go for the stuff you love. Then the items you’re willing to risk it on - just wait. However, items like the Gucci, sunglasses etc. will probably never make it to mark down again.

Love your videos & your take on this sale. Love the tip to keep the items in your wish list for alerts later in the year when those items go on sale. Problem is though that the items are disappearing from my wish list when it sells out. Is that normal?
They will come back on your wishlist when they are back in stock. Everything comes back in stock for full price after the sale is over. Then you start getting alerts when things go on sale in the Fall.
I never shop the anniversary sale. My SA has the best deals weeks before the sale and this year was one of the best. Every premier designer was on sale and these are mostly classic and not too trendy. Even RTW!

What is your opinion on the Nordstrom brand Open Edit? I was just wondering about the quality compared to their other brands that have been around longer.
It’s ok! I’ve bought some shoes and tops from them. It’s always on trend but it goes on sale a lot so I would wait for price drops on that brand.
