I suppose that one benefit of removing the polycarbonate panels is access to the underside of the roof to allow for the cladding to be completed.

Bad roofing. Awful waste of time and money. It's serious or they wouldn't be going to this extent.

They took the pollies off to get access to the cladding under the roof. That will be put back on once complete. The crain brought the cladding up
If people have the chance,I recommend checking out the new pitch system at Real Madrid which removes the pitch then stores it under the pitch so that they don't need a new pitch after every concert...that description doesn't help at all but it is a system that will be copied a lot in the future.
HI Nick Thank you for the new information Wow it seems to never end what other areas of the stadium still needs doing.
Well we can see concerts over now and now relaying the new pitch so we wait and see what happens next.

FYI mate it’s safe standing not railed seating we have licence now for over a year and kop will be all safe standing

Hi Mr drone good to see you back on the roof replacement I think its to do with the Tylor swift concert and the pyrotechnics they place on the abbey road end and pinks too not sure just pure guess work

The length of time this Project has taken, has been ridiculous. Given the interruptions of Match days etc, taken into consideration, and the transfer of Construction Companies on the Build, there still seems to be a lot of snagging Work still to be done. Everton have been able to almost fully build Bramley Moore Dock in this time. I know there's been very little for them to deal with to interrupt them, but still. Surely, all of this will be done before the start of the 24/25 Season?!

@@simpham1274 A new Stadium wasn't really an option. The History of Liverpool Football Club, lies within Anfield. IF all sides of the Stadium are reconstructed, then it'll feel like a new Stadium.
Money in keeping tours going and staging concerts, all business. Fully done by start of next season and no match days interrupted. Good job in all fairness

It's a beautiful looking stadium now but what a pity the pitch specifications at Anfield don't meet FIFI requirements and therefore can't be used for international tournaments.
When I was in AR for the final game of the season I noticed that there was quite a bit of water dripping on the lower section behind the goal, which seemed weird given it was totally dry !

Hi Nick, I have been following all of your projects and love your work. I might be wrong but the interior roofing panels seem to still be incomplete, is there any news on when this will be finished?
I heard they remove panelling because they can fix the cladding underneath the stand and possibility that could be it
They have loads to do all roof cladding seats pitch and brick work in a month they will be pushing it
The LFC under the rails on the kop will look strange unless the barriers will be white and black to match the seat ?

Are you sure they take everything off? The stadium said that they will do the roof cladding underneath via that hole. Seems plausible to me

Apparently they are removing the roof to put cladding underneath. Plus why is there a gap between the old stand and the new upper stand? You can see lights from the fan zone?
they never finished the flashing on the underside. way easier to take up the roof for access then putting machines on the pitch again. which looks like it aint an option anyway
my seats are under those panels and they were leaking slightly so assumed there was an issue with them

When the roof was being installed I said it looked nothing like the same quality of the main stand and more like something you would install in a home Garden.

This build has been a nightmare and I'm personally not happy with it, Looks half arsed a complete disaster for the club compared to the main stand hate when things are not done properly got half a mind to knock it down and re design it and start again not good enough for a club like Liverpool.
agree totally its a bit of a mish mash not a top looking stadium more a cowboy job lol
I posted last year when the snagging list came out it would add 6 months or more and looks like more bodged work being found 🤬
I was working near Anfeild 2 weeks ago there was people abseiling down the outside of the building and right next to them the cladding was falling off everything looks cheap badly installed the goosewing grey roof sheets and cladding are what youd clad a cow shed in absolute botched football ground
The external brickwork is also crap and most of the finishing.

Property in this area is some of the roughest and poorest in the country.
FFS they built the IOM ferry terminal quicker than this and they started building that when Victoria was on the throne.
the railed seating thing is a bit of a joke - everyone stands the entire time including half time anyway and if you over 5'11 you cant sit in them anyway without your knees wedged against the metal frame of the rail in front. Also means kids have to stand on the seats to see anything so dont know why they just dot say they are safe standing

LFC made a massive mistake not building a brand new stadium. Compared to how impressive the EFC Bramley Moore stadium 🏟 is looking, it makes Anfield look like an ancient monument much like the roman collessum. When Liverpool had the opportunity to build at King's Dock they should have . Even old Trafford looks awful too. Both clubs need new 21st century stadia.
Anfield is more special than any new modern bowl. The problem is still not being able to fully increase capacity because of the housing around it.
The kings dock would have been a joke of a place for a stadium,it's nightmare getting away from there now when something is on at the arena and that is only 11k just think what it would be like with 60k trying to leave.😅

What a fiasco. Poor quality finish all around. It’s now about 12 months late. The discoloured seats in the main look awful as well. Tight FSG should have built a new stadium in the park like Hicks & Gillette wanted to do. 😬

Its honestly been a disaster this build, problem after problem.
Jesus!! When you zoom in on the cladding on the roof..you can see what an absolute botch job they've done ..also club have come out to say that there will be no more expansion on the stadium!! Only internal upgrades. Also saying they may have to reduce capacity in the Kenny stand to improve leg room! So there you go! 60,000 or less moving forward ..the club will eventually have to relocate and build a stadium up to standard of a club this size! As this stadium already looking dated
It's all a bit depressing when I've just watch the Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City and Tottenham Stadiums. They are probably kicking themselves for not building a new one in Stanley Park.
