      The same thing was happening in Afghanistan only the Western media never admitted to it. Before the US pulled out of Afghanistan, the Taliban had 75% of the country under their control, so it was only a matter of time before they won. Even when the US pulled out, the media still insisted that all was not lost because there was still another 400,000 ANA defending the country. It wasn't until the Taliban captured Kabul that they finally admitted it was a debacle of epic proportions.

    The foreign [=UA] military review is tensely silent today. There are several reasons for this. One of the main ones is the complete failure of their monthly forecasts for the Krasnoarmeysk direction of the front. Just a couple of weeks ago, Röpke and others stated that the Russian Armed Forces did not have operational reserves of 100-150 thousand personnel necessary for a breakthrough to Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). And here is the result - another day and the battalion stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Vozdvizhenka will fall, the Russian Armed Forces will take control of the junction on the Pokrovsk - Chasov Yar highway and then the group in Chasik and Pokrovsk will be left without logistics along the LBS."

      @Donello 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@NAVEENkumar-vz3vl I'm not sure that the land corridor to Transnistria is a primary goal, but I guess capturing Odessa was a goal at least at the beginning. However, crossing the Dnieper now would be difficult, given that there are no bridges accessible to the Russians and the Black Sea coast has been mined by the Ukrainians.

    • @masoodjalal1152
      @masoodjalal1152 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Donelloconsidering Ukrainians were getting across at Krynky it is possible Russia can do the same. The river width is not that long. Also recently Russian troops were spotted in islands on the dneipr river. So it completely possible that Russia can push through.
      Being realistic though, Ukraine would never give up Odessa, giving that up would mean Ukraine would become a landlocked country so they will fight the fiercest there. If negotiations were to fail it would be at Odessa. If Russia really wants to end the war now, it will have to give up on Odessa. But if Russia is serious about Odessa, they will have to push through Dneipr river at large force.

    • @piscesfreak1
      @piscesfreak1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Sorry, I meant if a peace plan were signed.
      I am most definitely not an expert on the matter, but I seem to note that that is how it usually goes when a peace deal is signed.
      Odessa is absolutely a war goal of theirs but I think if a peace deal were signed today, they wouldn't get it.

      @@Donello That makes sense too. The end result is still the same.
      @limitless9539 I get what you 're saying. Although I have yet to find someone who hasn't somehow taken one side or the other. The three sources you perceive as unbiased actually prefer Ukraine to win, however they have a key difference to Denys: to put it politely, Denys is an outright clown. Probably the most serious is Weeb, as Willy and HL take a somewhat more dramatic approach to how they report what happens. Another pro-Ukraine source worth following is Military Summary, although I mostly follow him because I like listening to a slavic accent. TOTAL KONTROL OVER THE LINE OF KOMBAT KONTAKT IN THE VICINITY OF KRASNOGOROFKA. NOW LET'S MOVE FURTHER IN THE VICINITY OF YASNOBRODOFKA. How he says the location names, he makes them sound so beautiful, so exotic, when all this ends and everything is rebuilt I 'll want to visit all of them.

    • @Donello
      @Donello 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Lina_Antoniou Military Summary exists at least in Russian, English, German and Serbian. I listen to three of those (Russian, English, German), though mostly it's English, and it's one and the same speaker for the Russian and English-language versions and a second one for the German-language version. I haven't listened to the Serbian-language version because I don't know the language. Since you like the Slavic accent, I guess you follow the English-language version. My impression is not at all that Dima Rybar, the speaker, is pro-Ukrainian. First, he consistently speaks of the Special Military Operation, which is is the official term in Russia. Second, he follows the official Russian policy of considering Zelenskyy illegitimate after his first constitutional term ran out and no elections were held. Third, he relies on official Russian sources (not only those, but he is one of the few to rely on the Russian Ministry of Defence). So it would be interesting to know why you consider him pro-Ukrainian. Oh, and, by the way, he not only Russifies, but also mispronounces many of the place names: wrong stress, metathesis, misreading. E. g. two days ago, he had a really hard time to recognise the name of the German philosopher Friedrich Engels, after whom a street in one of the contested Ukrainian cities was named: three attempts, all wrong. I guess he is somewhat dyslexic, since he consistently mispronounces some Russian words as well.
      In my opinion History Legends, even though officially neutral (you see both the Russian and the Ukrainian flags in his studio), is more Russian-leaning. The reason why he started his channel, if I remember correctly, was the unashamed pro-Ukrainian bias in the mainstream western media, which, according to him, was misrepresenting the situation on the line of contact in Ukrainian favour. There recently was an interview with him on some channel where he explained this, but, unfortunately, I don't remember on which. Also, he uses some Russian words occasionally, but no Ukrainian ones. Once again, I wonder why you put him in the pro-Ukrainian camp.
      I don't follow Willy OAM and haven't (yet) seen any video of his, but I often see him among the suggestions. Since I regularly see the letter Z on the pictures, I guess he's mocking the Russian use of this letter in the context of the conflict with Ukraine. This is what makes me think he is pro-Ukrainian.
      As to Weeb Union, so far I have failed to see any signs that would put him in the pro-Russian or pro-Ukrainian camp. Thus, I'd like to know why you put him in the latter.
