Just a little fact. The scene where Hae-in is telling Hyun-woo to come with her is different from the first episode. In the first episode, Hae-in seems hard and demanding because that's how Hyun-woo sees her. In the 2nd episode however, Hae-in is soft.
@@himaririku5289 Already explained by the OP but oh well. In the previous episode infront of the elevator scene, from Hyun-woo's perspective he was calm and Hae-in was angry at him. In the next episode, from Hae-in's perspective she was nervous but never raised her voice and was talking to Hyun-woo in a calm manner, meanwhile Hyun-woo was very aggressive and very irritated and disgusted. Shows when we are mad and let our emotions get the best of us, our perspective and how we remember it gets twisted.
Take note of the different point of views. This shows how they misunderstood each other. For example the POV of Hyunwoo when she was asked by Hae In to come with her in front of the elevator. Ep 1 shows Hyunwoo's POV, while on ep 2 shows Hae In's POV. Hyunwoo's POV shows how demanding and bossy Hae In is, while in Hae In POV, you can show she is nervous, slight warm in her approach. Just some random observation.
It was for the first 10 episodes. those were very nicely written, presented and just too enticing but the next 5 episodes just lost me. There was way too much nonsense filler plots which actually werent needed. 16th was again a blast. Lovely Runner actually did better than this one overall. Just too good
yes! i felt really disconnected from the show during the first 6 episodes (and actually stopped watching it for a while) but once episode 7 hit? i was locked in.
I've been a kdrama fan for years but queen of tears is the first and only drama that made me watch people's reactions to it (because it's just way too good) 😭😭 I've seen all the other reactors' videos and now I'm glad i found y'all it's so fun watching you
Both the lead actors are great at acting with their faces - she's great with her eyes and eyebrows, and he's good with his whole face. One of my favourite things about watching this drama was seeing them micro-act with their faces; the chemistry and simultaneous inner conflict they can show towards each other just with their eye contact is crazy!
2:46 just incase someone gonna watch them in future you should focus on each other P.O.V like the lightning and stuff. Whenever it's hyunwoo P.O.V he sees hae in as a bossy and cold person which why the scene was also in blue or cool tone but whenever its Hae in P.O.V it's always in warm tone and you can see on her reaction how scared she was compare on how hyunwoo see her
"Yes, sing to me Korean man" Hehe the singer at that part was DK from Seventeen, he has really sweet vocals (also powerful too). Him, Hoshi and Seungkwan (a unit of Seventeen) did that particular OST. Just a lil fact as a fan of both Seventeen and this drama :)
Such a brilliant drama. Really good to see you watching this, Korean drama has improved so much and this is so well written. An absolute gut wrencher at times, but so well acted. When you have watched the first ten you will know exactly why its called Queen of Tears. Get your tissue box ready... All of them.

Even if I fell out of love with someone and wanted to divorce them, its real shitty of him to be happy that she has 3 months left to live. It takes me a while through this drama to forgive him for his excitement of her dying cause like bro, she's your wife.

I dropped this show because I thought it was too silly and unrealistic, but I guess it's enjoyable if you don't take it too seriously. You might've convinced me to try to watch it again. As I've liked all the previous dramas these two actors have been in.
i dont know if im the only one that is watching the show this way but i genuinely find hyunwoo behaviour slimy and im not saying this because i feel like haein is all in the right or something but actively looking forward to her death while acting like youre not to the point of even being ecstatic about it trump whatever haein has done to him cos the highest thing haein has done so far has just being that she is cold to him and doesnt show love the same way he does. and he just seems so self absorbed so far from what im getting. and i feel like the showwriters making the whole him wanting haein to die in a comedic sense makes it less jarring and it works lol cos a lot of people overlook it as not that big of a deal. because if you have gotten to the point of being happy to hear the news that shes going to die to the point of trying to find out if miracle does happen because you dont want it to and sad because she said she was going to look for every treatment options , how do you get back from that but we will see i guess. Gosh ive ranted a lot. and this is not a shade to the actor, ive been watching his shows since dream high.
I understand what you mean but Honestly, I think his behavior is consistent with his emotional state. Here is my impression of Hyun Woo. He is a man who married in love but in 3 years of marriage he has been humiliated by his own wife and her family, he is sad, anxious, scared, stressed, alone and very hurt. What he wants is to end the marriage without dying in the process. Unfortunately, the only way that can happen without him being killed is with her dead. His emotional state is so extreme that he sees no other solution. When she came after him in the helicopter he never imagined what their life would really be like. I hope what I said makes some sense to you.
@coelharebelde I do understand what you're saying but so far I don't get how haein has humiliated him and this is not to dismiss what he's feeling or anything like that. My own is if you've harboured hatred for someone to the point that you are happy when you found out that they will soon die I don't know how you can come back from that. But I do get what are you saying in the sense that his emotional state is very heightened.
@coelharebelde like him standing up for her against her family for the first time ever, him being very nice to the point it feels so new to her and knowing that he only does it just for show just doesn't sit right with me and that's what makes him feels so self absorbed to me. And haein I'm not talking much about her because I haven't seen yet what she did to make the relationship turn sour I guess I will see as the episodes progresses. And I feel like he transferred all the hatred for her family to her and he resented her for it, and it got worse due to haein not standing up for him when he's around. One thing I can get from them so far is that communication is not what they excel at.
@@zaemataleilo4840 Well, for me she humiliated him when she mistreated him in front of other company executives, disregarded his decisions and forced him to submit to hers even when he was right. Not to mention that she scolds her brother about her husband but when he is present she allows the family to treat him badly. About him wanting her to die, I think he doesn't see her as the woman he married. It's another person, a stranger to whom he felt trapped, but the moment he begins to recognize details of the woman he fell in love with, the idea of finding freedom as a widow is no longer bearable. It is what I think.

Him staying by her side and being kind, initially I understand that he wants to protect himself but as we see in the wedding flashbacks (and it becomes even clearer in the next episodes) he is a good man, raised in a loving way, so even if he is in denial the change in his treatment is not just something random driven by self-protection. It's love, and her letting him get close without being so dominating also reveals her love for him, which I repeat allows him to see in her the woman he fell in love with, allowing her to remember why she fell in love with him. Wow, I love having someone to talk to respectfully about this Drama. thanks 😊 💖

It's funny how you can actually see their love for each other yet they didn't notice it themselves
