Mileage 126 was at ‘Gordon’ on the Beachburg Sub. The site of the longest siding in Algonquin Park at 2 1/2 miles. Built in the 70’s to accommodate the longer trains that were starting to run the line. Rite along the beautiful shores of Grand Lake.
My one regret was when I was driving across the top chasing CP and never turned to head to Brent. I stopped at the road and decided to keep going west. Should of made the turn.
