I saw them last year in Glasgow on the permission to land 20th anniversary tour.....still sound exactly the same and still have the same energy. Proper nostalgia trip. Awesome band 🤙🤙

We had listened to album on the way up so had some idea, but when I saw them I was very much “fuck me, this is great!”

Saw you in 04. Really inspired me and thousands of others to learn guitar, in spite of what Justin had going on substance wise at the time!

(Although it definitely seemed like the fun honeymoon phase of the coke addiction hadn’t worn off at that point, Justin rode a giant tiger out over the crowd on wires while ripping a solo 😂).

They were supporting Robbie Williams. The genius of it went way over the majority of their heads, I think. This was so out of the norm for the music in 2003.
Good point. Robbie Williams was headlining, not exactly the same audience demographic...but I imagine the lads converted a few😊

@@dainbramage3558 yes. In 2003 they supported Def Leppard at Wembley Arena and they went down a storm. 18 months later they headlined the place and sold out three nights in a row (audio recording coming with the PTL 20th Anniversary CD).
