Ludwig Van Beethoven mine had the same problem. He isn't neutered but I got him to almost full correct this. When ever he poops outside his litter box I spray the area with a 50/50 mix of vinegar & water & put the poop in his box. My boy started getting the hint after a day or two.

Thank you so much for this. 🙌 I've had my rabbit for two weeks and a day now. I'm going to start training her tomorrow. My rabbits so young and a really fast learner. I'm sure she will have no problem with this, thank you. 💚🐇

Yes its especially important to pick a litterbox with a very low front for small breeds, babies and elderly buns. What I also done to train my Willow as a teen was to gradually give the bunny more space and freedom based on good litterbox behavior or to give less freedom/space if she started going potty elsewhere. Kind of like when you are housebreaking a puppy. Then when you work your way up to a room, put the litterbox where your bunny wants to go potty at.
Omg thank you so much we have had our bunny just over a week. She found her toilet place to be our beds, which wasn't what we wanted. So we tried exactly what you suggested in your video😁 our bunny bea is now fully house trained she pees and poops in her tray and chills with the family it's like having a cat. Thank you so much for doing this video and I hope everyone else finds it as easy as we did 😊

My old mini lop was god tier, got him adopted at 2 weeks and was instantly friendly with kids, got along with 4 dogs (including 2 hunting spaniels) and pretty much only pooped in the cage. Lived till 14 too
+StormyRabbits hey Abby what kind of litter do you use for your rabbit I recently just got a bunny a week ago and I want to litter train him but I'm not sure what kind of litter to use the lady at the pet store where I got the litter box from said to put bedding on it but I'm in decisive because I don't really think that it will work please write me back
This brings back memories of litter training my last bunny, and it really will bring back memories if I get this bunny, because it looks just like my last bunny.
How I litter trained my rabbit (Luna): She’s a dwarf rabbit, so she’s kind of small. What I did was get a large Tupperware container, covered the bottom with cat litter and put a layer about a half inch thick of that in the container. I picked up some of the bedding that she had used the bathroom on and picked up a few of her poos and put them in the container. She didn’t need any help and just plopped in there and I didn’t have to do any work. Her litter box is on the corner of her cage right next to her food and water so she pretty much camps on that side of her cage.
Kenzie The Weirdo Did you have her for long before doing this? my rabbits are 3 and 2, and i’m not sure if i can start training them to litter and perform tricks xx
It’s been a 3 year process for me but my bunny is now fully litter trained and now a free roaming rabbit. I think it had a lot to do with maturity. My rabbit would even think about litter boxes until she was over a year old.
StormyRabbits ,Thank you so much for ur tips! Ur videos really helped me learn more about how to understand and train my little lion head! Iv noticed a lot more about both his personality and his attitude towards me since watching some of ur vids! Happy to say he loves me😊 thanks again!

My 2 rabbits were used to using it on a certain type of bedding, so for a while I kept the bedding all over the cage until I got annoyed with having to clean it from AROUND the outer cage. I put the bedding in a litter pan without the rack for about a week, and after I saw them using it well, I put the wire rack on it. The rack really prevents from kicking the bedding all over the place. Both boys were potty trained in no time. The only issue I have, is that 1 will poop when he gets too excited when I let them out to run around, so it's constant sweeping lol
This worked wonders for my rabbit...my rabbit is a few years old and isn't neutured..he was given to us a few months ago...at first he tried to dump the litter box but once he saw it was going anywhere he started using it the same day I started trying to train him....
my Netherland Dwarf rabbit has a very hard time remembering to go in the litter box, so I have been very Vigilant and making sure that I pick everything up and then I don't move around his cage sitting too much. I'm hoping that after a while it will begin to settle in and become more regular with him!!
I've been stalking your channel for like 3 days .-. I absolutely love it! I've been watching all your first videos and I sorta just started to make my way down to these! Thanks for being awesome :D
I put a trash bag around the litter box and then put paper and hay in it. Every few days I just reverse the trash bag to remove it and it's all wrapped up and easy to discard. as well as it keeps the litter box stain free!
My guinea pig is litter trained, so what I did was move the litterbox to where he tended to pea and poop. I placed his food near the litterbox, too, since they tend to pee and poop where they eat. So here's the kicker... EVERY TIME I return him to his habitat after picking him up, cuddling him, or having playtime with him, I put him directly in his litterbox. He immediately goes potty when I do that. Now, he's associated the litterbox with relieving himself and it seems to be working. I think we have to have realistic expectations, too, so 100% isn't reasonable to expect from potty-training them.
The first time I got Jaspar (my Netherland Dwarf) he didn't use his litter at all. I tried everything, cleaning and putting his waste in the litter box but he would ignore it. Unfortunately I could not clean his pee up with a paper towel and put it in the litter box because he would eat the paper towel. But as soon as I got his bigger cage (he was in a temporary one) he went into the litter box with no problems at all, like as if he knew.... But when he became mature enough to start producing testosterone (also the time you should get your male rabbit neutered), he started to chew on his litter box. He had plenty of chews but he chose his litter box and destroyed it. His cage is not big enough to have a cat litter box because the boxes are HUGE and he is tiny. So I had to take his litter box out for a few days. Today I got him neutered and he has so far stopped chewing on his litter box, I got him new chews and a new litter box in case he starts chewing on the current one. But I don't expect him to completely behave for the next few weeks because he has to get rid of the rest of his testosterone, but I look forward to his results when his hormones are fine. :3

+Katherine Cerrillo I put bedding in my bunny's litter box... You can also put in hay but actual litter is not healthy
Geared up Activities Litter absorbs and keeps odour under control. Using bedding or hay alone is actually quite unhygienic.

I love it when you post videos!!!! It was very helpful, and i am going to get a rabbit soon and it looks like Misty ^_^
Such a great video! So much good info and correct care! 💗🐰💗
I don’t even have a rabbit but I’m begging my parents because I want one so bad but I’m trying to learn as much knowledge as I can about rabbits
Mines doing nicely a few poops on the ground but most go in the box :)
Also a good trick to use when litter training is to reward them for the first few times
My rabbits try to eat paper towel all the time! They were indoor (now outdoor) and they escaped from their pen thing I made and chewed the sofa. 😂
