Luis Miguel is a mix of many things. Spanish and italian heritage, born in Puerto Rico with american citizenship. Moved to Mexico as a child, then to Spain and then back to Mexico still a kid to become the star of Mexico and pursuit his mexican citizenship. He has stated that he considers himself mexican and us mexicans love to say he is one of our own. He is a very international person though so he is more than just mexican for many people I think.

I'm not a vocal coach, and I'm not trained or educated in music. BUT I do know special when I hear it, and Luis Miguel is special. He's a world class singer/vocalist.
