nice video. How is yours producing such smooth image? My OA3, even at 4K, the sharpness is so ridiculously high it looks really bad. What did you do to alleviate this issue?
I hoping to find out what grip stick you were using, I like how chunky and the length looks a little longer than normal.

Nice video! Was it all shot in 10-Bit color settings? And what min-max iso range did you set? With or without ND filters?
Yes definitely no way out of the box settings the colours looks like than its shot in 10bit and than colour corrected

Looks like it's quite popular - to get one from German DJI store you have to wait 1-2 weeks. Ordered mine from MM this morning. I hope I will get one without a focus issue. Fingers crossed.

I currently have a gopro 3+ and 9 Black, the 3 is too old and the 9 Black is finicky, my audio adapter just stop working and over where I am located the local distributor just being change and I can't claim any warranty from Gopro.
Enough is enough, the Gopro overheat and sometimes freeze, making it so unreliable. Looks like the next action cam will be a DJI for me.

Did you use 30fps for any shoot? Is there any reason to not use 60 even without slow-mo?
It's a shame that I can't find GND filters for it. Pgytech made a set for the Action 1 and it helps so much with the sun because action cam lenses can't clamp down direct sun with starburst like a full frame lens can (laowa 9mm 5.6 at f16-f22).

Watched this and then found your review of the Insta 360 X3, newbie and still trying to figure out which is best. Like the X3 and would like to learn to do other stuff apart from just being out on my Motorbike. Any good advice from someone with experience ! Good shots of the canal at New Haw by the way - much better than Dubai 😂

this is how it is when someone does not understand the operation of electronic stabilization, only listens to the advice of filmmakers shooting on gimbals with/or stabilized sensor/lenses. You can see that it uses ND filters, which are too strong for the proper operation of the electronic stabilization system
only important thing is hows the low light image handled ?!!
I’ve seen many many videos where it is way better than go pro 9

Lower shutter speed and use ND filter.
5:20 There a chance that new firmware glitched your math. 😆
If a full charge gives around 1h40, that would be quite an advanced hack to get around 2h, with a battery sitting at 80%.

I have the same camera and gopro 11,the Dji is better than gopro 🌝
I have one, was ok outside in coldest temperatures, tried to record inside at 4K 60 fps, was like 20 degrees inside, after 5 min stopped recording because of overheating. And didn’t happen only once

bring mine to snorkling , rated up to 16 meters but I dont know how water get inside(all cover tightly closed). the action 3 just dead now , reported to DJI but never heard from them again. wishthe had a better customer service since this is my first action cam, welp
problem is that is gopro is not much better, the best always buy this dji care/gopro subscribsion :(
GoPro Hero 10/11 never leaked for me, I use it when spearfishing. Actually GoPro customer service is excellent. I damaged accidentally the card slot, and they replaced the camera. How deep did you go? Osmo has 2 doors, GoPro 1, so one point less of failure

@@kingk5987 if salt water leaked into it, sorry, it is likely dead. I have been tempted to buy the OA3, but the 2 door made me wonder. The GoPro Hero 10-11 have a beefy doot. Never noticed any droplets in it. I use it without case up to 10m. I have the Osmo Action 2 which I mount on my speargun, as it is small. But the Hero 10 and 11 have better image quality, take higher resolution photos. The DJI has just better user interface and the magnetic mount. It looks like all these TH-camrs are pushing the DJI like it's an ad

Fabulous location, beautiful subject but shouldn't your video be more about reviewing the camera as you failed to mention that there is a well documented problem with the osmo action 3 where it is incapable of focusing on a persons face at a distance associated with vlogging, I bet the Gopro engineers cannot stop laughing! When the osmo action was first released I wanted to buy one because of the revolutionary front screen which is invaluable in framing but the reason I didn't was due to DJI's shortsightedness in that at that time you were unable to attach an external microphone. It took the best part of a year for DJI to release an adapter to enable this. Now their engineers have excelled themselves by releasing version 3 of the camera that is incapable of producing a sharp image of a persons face while vlogging, it literally beggars belief. I think I will now have no regrets in choosing a Gopro as my first action camera.
That pixelation and glitching is just horrible. Action cam that shoots like shit in SOME action scenes. What a nice thing to have :D
don't know how everyone can praise its video quality? It looks like shit compared to Go Pro 11. The details are always smudged and there are just artefacts everywhere to the point it looks bad.
