Luckily I have purchased Saregama's Caravan Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam Music cum Radio set which contains 5000, 3000 and 5000 songs respectively with FM Radio facility. Songs of KV Mahadevan are there in its Malayalam version. All these songs are excellent. Nostalgic and enjoyable. These melodies are crafted by great musicians, singers and lyricists. Those times people have to wait for songs relayed by Aakashvani. As children of 70 and 80 upto the advent of TV in mid 80s people relied upon Radios and cinema theatres. Of late the computers and internet in 90s and mobiles in 2000 onwards and social media of 2010 onwards the scenario changed. But all are still loved by people and the enjoyment of music and its appreciation still going on and relieving the people from their stress and strain of the competitive world. In summarising and providing comprehensive music in ready made portable radio sets for appreciation and enjoyment of music lovers is the major contribution of Saregama Caravan music sets.
