Suteerna Choudhury, BDS has no major connection with either MPH or MHA. So doing MPH or MHA will not help you in clinical dentistry. These are options for those who are planning to quit working on patients but are keen on staying in healthcare due to their BDS background. The starting salary is usually a package of 2.5 to 4 lakhs PER ANNUM. NOT MONTH. But there is career growth just like in dentistry. MPH means no more clinical practice. So it's not a back up option but a shift in career option. There are BDS practitioners who are successful. MDS is not compulsory. But first you need to first decide whether you want to dentistry or not. If not dentistry then look at all options which would suit you and then decide. Similarly, if you decide dentistry if you can't do MDS, don't stress. Learn clinical skills and set up your practice. You surely can specialise later by doing a fellowship or diploma. Again, first focus on the question dentistry or not.

TOEFL or IELTS is compulsory for most universities. After that you can apply for MPH or MScPH. Usually it's a 20 month course full time. There are about a dozen Canadian universities providing them you have to go through each website to decide which one suits your budget and situation.
Dual degrees are usually given by very few colleges. SRM university provides MBA and MPH. I am not aware of MHA and MPH dual degrees in India. Usually it is preferred to know which field you want to be in. So majority are single degrees. If you are aware of a college in India providing a dual degree of MHA and MPH do tell me.

Yes there are a few colleges that provide it online but most important find a university which will help you with job placement after the course. Just degree won't help.
Usually mha graduates apply for those posts. But yes you can shift from out from core mph. You need to prove in the interview that you would do a good job in the hospital..

good morning sir , i have an mbbs degree and would like to pursue an MPH degree. i have done a lot of research online but i can not find what is the next step one should follow to become an epidemiologist for example after obtaining an MPH. i read most companies before hiring require at least some sort of experience. so what should a newly MPH graduate do to find a job having no field experience?
Yes you are right most of the top companies look for experience. You will how ever need to try and find smaller companies where they take young grads. To boost your resume you can add a epidemiology certificate or do some epidemiological study during your MPH. Then try publishing it. Or work for free or as intern during MPH to gain experience. This adds to your CV. Having a strong CV helps in job hunt.

You need to clear GRE for some universities. TOEFL or IELTS is compulsory for most universities. After that you can apply for MPH or MScPH.
Usually it's a 20 month course full time. There are about a dozen Canadian universities providing them you have to go through each website to decide which one suits your budget and situation.

In India it is preferable to do a general MPH as compared to a more specific niche like nutrition.
Reason is job opportunities are not very easy in specific niches. TISS and IIPH and manipal are good universities.

good morning sir , i have an mbbs degree and would like to pursue an MPH degree. i have done a lot of research online but i can not find what is the next step one should follow to become an epidemiologist for example after obtaining an MPH.
i read most companies before hiring require at least some sort of experience.
so what should a newly MPH graduate do to find a job having no field experience?
Yes you are right most of the top companies look for experience.
You will how ever need to try and find smaller companies where they take young grads.
To boost your resume you can add a epidemiology certificate or do some epidemiological study during your MPH. Then try publishing it.
Or work for free or as intern during MPH to gain experience. This adds to your CV.
Having a strong CV helps in job hunt.
