    what gearing was best to not give struggle to the motor on 8s but still faster than stock and do more backflips? thanks

      @bradjrc196  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it was 50/23t , I think . Everything I tried would do backflips lol with the 1650 it’s finding the sweet spot with gearing .

    What is that brace u got over steering?

    • @bradjrc196

      It’s a alloy plate I made and painted. Never broke a steering part since

    What gears are you using? I didn’t know you could use mod 1.5 on stock motor

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can but it needs to be for a mod 1 shaft , they do them on eBay but read the description as to what shaft size they fit. Hope this helps

    Just bought the max6 combo with 1650kv motor, with the m2c motormount, same as you. My question is can i drive this setups with original pinion and spur?

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can but it will be crazy lol play around with pinions to find your sweet spot. 👍🏻

    Are those intakes for your fans backwards? Seems like be better the other way around..I like them where get them?

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There from Bigfoot customs. You can mount them either way . Facing forward you get the cold air coming from the front . That’s just my feeling.

    Great video buddy how did the xmaxx do yesterday?

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it was ok but felt like it was lacking power and seemed to loose range? Got to check a few things and test it again. Bash video will be up this week 👍🏻

      Yes mate as long as it’s not tipping it down. Even though the grass was wet yesterday they stayed pretty clean ie not much cleaning lol.

    Did you say 1650kv hobbywing motor? That motor is only rated for 6s. I thinking thats why you had issues with the screws. Gotta go with the 1100kv motor.
    Good luck.

    • @bradjrc196
      @bradjrc196  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I’m running a 1650kv . It will run 8s no problem and is a beast lol . There is no instructions in the kit as to what screws go where and how many. I checked hobbywings guide to screw lengths and went from there. All good now and runs very well . Will get to test it out this weekend with the M2c extended hubs. Will be interesting.

    That mesh is too loose. Way too much movement.
