  • I really liked this project. I used a combination of vintage handkerchiefs and digital handkerchiefs. My video shooting is improving, I think I kept my hands in the shot and my hair out of the shot (for the most part). I just wish that at the end I had thought to pause the video instead of freaking out and counting down when the camera was going to cut off!
I didn't use any kits so there are no links for that but here are Rachel and Sarah's videos.
Still have a ways to go to catch up to Rachel, here's her Day 2 video:

I'm a new subbie. Just found your channel. I love vintage hankies!!! My mother always told us never to go out without our hanky!! I forgot about that till I saw this video. Such a happy memory. So I have a nice stash of hankies from my grandmother. Don't use hankies much anymore! Lol
I do have my favorite from grandma I carried in my wedding. Let my DIL carry it when she married my son. She's an Angel, btw!! I will give it to her some day, when I can let it go!!!
Anyhow, I'm anxious to watch your older videos, and catch up. I've watched a few earlier today. And I love your work & your style.
But have been wanting to use my hankies in my journals. Wasn't sure how. These ideas are perfect. Definitely going to do this. Thx for vid.

Hi Barbara, Thanks for subscribing. I love vintage hankies! I found these at the thrift store, a very lucky score. They do seem to be one of the things I hoard but I have ideas for some of them. I just used the one on the far right for my Grandma's Attic journal. Do you know about the bell? When you subscribe? The bell pops up and you can choose if you want to be notified about new videos. In the next day or two I will be posting a Give-Away video, watch for it. If you comment you could win a journal! Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate it.

I would use iron on in between the layers to give it more stability.

Thank you, They were a Thrift store find. I like to use them but I do tend to forget I have them. I just used the one on the right in a book a few days ago. Thanks for checking out my video.
