These students could be doing so much more with their time and attention as well as the adults whom sacrifice time. Massive shoutout to the “Sounds Of Perfection” of Whitehaven High School for being a consistent and long term success of a high school band program. There’s just no other like them. Shout out to Craigmont High “Tsunami of Sound” keep that hunger.
I’m loving Whitehaven’s improvement of their sound compared to last year. You can tell they learned from their battle with Oak Park last year. Raw power doesn’t always secure the dub. Craigmont . . they came for blood this battle. Their intonation, articulation, and phasing was impeccable. I look forward to seeing how their program does in the future. Great job to all the students in this battle.

Craigmont got band of the year, hadn’t heard much of them before this year tbh and what i heard definitely wasn’t anywhere this level at all, they have definitely improved since that time period. They made my favorite band to see this year, i’ve enjoyed watching them more than the college bands to be quite honest. Keep it up over there y’all!! ✊🏽

The facts are Craigmont smacked Whitehaven in Face 3/4 of this battle...Whitehaven begin to catch there stride after the drum battle. Craigmont was still on fire though Witehaven just begin to match there intensity. But the battle was coming to a close...Sooo Craigmont for the win cause Whitehaven attempt to recover was too late. Now if the battle would have continued to for another hour we would've seen if Craigmont could have withstood Whitehaven resurgence in this battle. Neither of these bands are Gym bands TAKE THAT SHIT OUTSIDE.

Craigmont was dropping sticks (someone recorded that also) and one of their instructors gave them a extra stick😭😭😭😭 saw it with my own eyes. And ofcourse Whitehaven Majorettes SLAUGHTERED Craigmont dance team!
