The end of the Dream Academy series. The final 6 girls have been chosen to be part of HYBE and GEFFEN’s new girl group. It’s truly amazing to see what the girls have achieved throughout this process. Stay tuned to watch all 3 new original song performances and what the final line up looks like.

I don't know why Megan was underrated. She is one of the standout performers in this show. Main dancer material, stable vocals, great stage presence, pretty, versatile. I'm glad the judges saw her talents. Very well deserved!

Manon is saved by the public. Emily Tied with Lara in Judge’s rank. Still she’s improving her skills. I think she deserves it still. Even BTS members before don’t dance or sing but because they work hard look at them now.
So satisfied with the line up. The voting system is just right. And because I’m from the Philippines I was shocked that Sophia is no. 1 in a lot of countries. I was rooting for yoonchae too! Our cute Maknae. I was happy that Lara has a lot of supporters too! Megan and Daniella has star quality even on the 1st mission so i was not surprised.
I would be glad if Ezrela made it. Cause she has this sunshine vibe though. I think it would be great.

I'm glad the judges considered Emily fairly. She was best dancer / performer. I did think of BTS when we got Manon. I really look forward to seeing the growth there.

I am really happy with the lineup and so happy Megan is debuting! She was my top pick besides the obvious choices. She was heavily underrated and I don't know why cause her performance and facial expressions ATE every time and her vocals are really good too. This group is going to eat!!

Megan and Daniela are the TWINS OF SLAY! They were my top picks from Mission 1. There’s absolutely NO WAY they could split them up. So so happy for ALL the girls but especially Manon making the group. Thanks for the reaction.

I like the format of this survival show because as a viewer, I can only base my vote on their performance. Unlike other survival shows where they air the behind the scenes first which somehow affects the votes of contestants.

Hoping Geffen keeps Emily and places her somewhere in Interscope A&M Records development or HYBE America in their burgeoning country division because she is young, versatile, charismatic and talented. Don't let her go - you picked her out of 20,000+ contestants and she proved herself in each mission! Keep her, if not for Katseye, maybe another project.
Now that it's come to this, I can't help but compare them to JYPE's Vcha.
In terms of competence, I think KATSEYE is superior.

I’m not shading vcha but from afar u can notice the difference in level n I don’t know how to explain it with words but even the vibe or aura that KATSEYE transmits is superior, in addition all the girls of the GG of Hybe sing super well, they dance incredible n their presence feels so good, it’s simply a group of global quality girls, they r all so good

@@PatBoahen That’s exactly why I say it, I don’t go so much on the side of training time, It’s more like the artist vibe that KATSEYE has, leaving aside that Hybe’s GG has a lot of talent, all the girls have that star vibe, u can see them n say “wow they r in a group”, which the girls of vcha don’t have, at least for me they don’t transmit that star aura
@@ArimySweetieCandy but the training side takes part in that star quality these girls have confidence in there ability now. Some of these girls trained for 2 years, this is the same amount as a K-pop star. I bet a lot of these girls were not as stable or could dance coming to this program. Also age plays a role it’s good that vcha has not debut yet so more time to build that star qualities

Yah, I always knew that it was unlikely in the end that any of the shorties were gonna make the cut. I feel like Ezrela probally saw the writing on the wall too. I'm happy with the group tho! I do think like they FEEL like a group.

I think this is such a great group. All their visuals match with height yet they are still so individualistic. They definitely need to do a cunty concept. Really hoping for a PCD-like concept with the Kpop synchronization since that would be such a good match for the mix of West and East, but Yoonchae being so underage that might not be possible. A little bit disappointed as a Brazilian that Samara didn't make it but considering the controversy and her being so tiny compared to all the other girls in the group, I like Manon in the spot for the face card and the Black girl representation. Hybe Geffen just need to give them an iconic debut. KATSEYE as a name is a grower. I just think if they mean the makeup term like Cat eye, they shouldve went with KATEYE just cuz KATSEYE, doesn't roll off the tongue as much.
Even after the controversy, people were still rooting for Samara in place of Manon but I guess it was Hybe's decision to play safe. I will really miss Samaras vocals tho 😢

The only person that truly shocked me was Megan. I thought they were going to choose Emily, but I'm glad the judges realized she's a star. I am SO HAPPY with the lineup because I only had a top 5 going into the finale and they all made it! KATSEYE is honestly perfect.

i am not goona lie but your reaction as same as mine. i was so happy megan and daniela made it. at first me also hae some confusion about the name but yeah it is catchy and the lineup is really strong.
They really couldn't go wrong with any of the ten, unless they'd left out Sophia. All the finalists were incredibly good.

If Samara hadn't gotten into those controversies, she would definitely be in the group, and I still think she deserved to be in the group. Everyone has mistakes, in fact several idols that many defend/forgive very quickly, who also have huge mistakes, but I was happy for Lara, Sophia and Megan, they have always been one of my favorites

But you should also take into account that the 3 girls that are "american" are not 100% american. Lara's ethnicity is Indian even though she's from the USA and can also speak it. Daniela even though she's from the US her background is Cuban-Venezuelan and also speaks spanish (she can represent the hispanics/ latinos), and Megan from the US is chinese-american. So the group really IS GLOBAL
