Hey Donkey. I work in a Instutute that helps with PTSD o veterans. We had a client that told us about the „highway of death“, where he was stationed with army buddies at the exclusion zone, at a military checkpoint. He told us horrorfiing things, like the panik civilians experienced and something about infection. We shrugged it of as „PTSD talk“. A week later, he looked me dead in the eye and told me: they are coming to get me. Later that day, a black SUV pulled up and took him with them. The Govermet agents didnt even state their buisness. (Build a military roadblock/ checkpoint and / or a hospital complex similar to that one in „walking dead (bodybags, military equipment and chaos everywhere)).

Idea: Add a bunker that the survivors made out of concrete that was torn out of the road, they made this so they could get out of the strong radiation from the nuclear power plant, the bunker is near the yard and they also use a railcar to act as a home or business, the railcar was derailed from the rails shifting. :D
Just watched all 5 episodes. Love them all. Something I'd love to see are collapsed roads and half sunken cars and possibly some metal wall barrier checkpoints similar to the last of us.
I have an idea! You could build a large apartment complex where most of the population that works at the power plant lives. There could be lots of clips buildings a police station, a clinic and other things like that. I also think a supermarket with lots of large, empty parking lots that used to be bustling and maybe a large mall with some other smaller shops around it would be kind of cool.
add a prison in any town or countryside either big or small for the apocalypse scenario this lowkey good spot to survive, you can see TWD's prison as a reference
the transport of goods and trains aspect of Transport Fever in Cities Skylines would be an absolute game changer. Or even the economy aspect of Soviet Republic. Oh boy oh boy
Idea: Abandoned mall checkpoint. The mall served as a military checkpoint during the evacuation, chosen for its proximity to the major highway entrance and exit. Now long-abandoned, it seems like the perfect place for a survival camp, since there would be supplies, clothing (coats, boots, etc*) and food. (The idea came from the Left 4 dead mall after I replayed it recently.) [EXTRA] Mall History: Originally constructed in 1935, the building ( a hotel) was used to house injured soldiers during World War II from 1939 to 1945. After the war, it sat unused for years until the 1960s when it was renovated into a shopping mall. Since then, it has seen little updates, so much of the architecture still seems like the 1960s. I hope you like the idea!!! :D
One thing that's still missing in this diorama is farmland, with the outbreak would likely come infected soil, or foodstocks, and even water, but there might still be hope, some farms may still yet have clean water in their reservoirs, and soil. I think it'd make sense for farmers to band together, bring their equipment to a more centralized location to try and cultivate more grain, or vegetables to feed those in need. But they'd need to be careful. Farmers understand that, without Authority to take control, they themselves become their own authority, meaning, they'd be well armed, and try to fortify their land for no good bandits trying to steal food. What I'm getting at is a farmer community like a faction who have reclaimed some land to grow food and trade it to survivors for other supplies, and most importantly; Clean Water. Perhaps they have a deal with the Railyard Survivors and they try to maintain a Grain Silo with rail access so they can transport grain to remote areas, in exchange for mechanic expertise, fuel, and spare parts. There could even be a twist with this farm, where they're trying to operate their own private airfield and re-use their crop dusters as lifeline transports, or perhaps they have a usable helicopter, might be a bit too grande for a farm, but, the possibility is there.
Idea: A harbor where part of it has been turned into a survivor camp via the use of the now no-longer-working shipping crate movers and be in a gated area of the harbor. The survivors made their camp against the water which would allow them to escape via boat or swimming if the camp were to ever be infiltrated by zombies.
Here’s a story for the motel: built in the 1960s, the motel was owned by a man named Hudson Hampshire, the motel’s ownership than was transferred to Merritt, a larger hotel brand, and because of this it was a very popular road stop for many middle class travelers, hosting weekend barbecues and birthday parties in the dine in. When the apocalypse hit, two cars got into a collision at the intersection of a nearby highway, blocking all of the traffic flows, zombies began to rally onto the highway and people fled their cars, most people fled toward the motel, and the residents weren’t happy, they barricaded the motel so people from the highway couldn’t enter it, but the blockades were not able to hold off the zombies, and by day two, most survivors were eaten by the zombies, with only a group of armed people escaping the motel and setting fire to it, before driving toward the train yard.
Idea: you should add a mall that has survivors camped on the roof top and a bunch of small shops around the mall to add a little shopping area in the town
Can't wait to watch it. It looks really good, and if you're taking suggestions, I have an idea that the military blew up/blocked all bridges out of the city, and they tried to put up a makeshift wall made with shipping containers but they didn't put it up fast enough so it failed.
Idea: You could create a hospital fortified by the military. During the outbreak the military forces and the police department had orders to create an evacuation point for both the wounded and civilians. But what they tried to protect would end up destroying them, with the infected inside the hospital attacking the military inside the camp while more infected would attack coming down the highway or near locations.
Adding a chemical leak in the yard would be great.. A closed off zone with abandoned hazmat vehicles... Story: There was a chemical leak in the yard a few hours before the explosion.. They blocked off the area but didn't have enough time to contain the leak.. Hazmat vehicles were left abandoned.. Some of the survivors were hazmat team workers so who knows?
This is a follow-up of the “Alien Invasion” theory where I previously theorized that alien microbes traveled to Earth on a comet: Mr. Scherlock helped point me towards a possible location of a meteor impact site after he told me that he suspected Jonathan H. had contracted the MI.V (Morturia I. Vira) from a local animal while on an adventure trip in Lao Cai. So, I did a little digging and found out that there is a site that has all the visual indicators of an impact site 8-10 miles north of Lao Cai near a Chinese farm. However, just because it has all the visual indicators doesn’t necessarily confirm it to be an impact site. In order to confirm it I would need to test the soil, but that would be hard in my current predicament. I’ll let you know once I am able test out the soil.
So, I am gonna build on what I commented on the last video. *Static* Hello? We are the Merchants of Fate. We are currently staying on a hill about 3 or 4 miles up the highway. Good people from the old city are staying here as well as some former military personnel. If you're trying to enter the old city we advertise that ya don't. Oh maybe having a hospital that has been busted into. Maybe an ambulance got driven into the side of the building causing it to burn for a while. Medicine and other supplies have been stolen but a small part was turned into refuge
Hey love your rail yard also some suggestions for it (if you can in city skyline 2) but if can maybe you could rust the track of place some dirt covering the tracks where the locos/roiling stock (due to the weight of them and how long they most likely have been sitting for the track would of sank a little bit) hope this helps with the environment making Edit: on some of the roling stock you could have some rolled over (possibly by a large group of survivors for a camp) or just due to time as the track sunk
I dont understand why im late to your videos but anyways, i got an idea: its gonna be a uhh we can say a river whit a base on it... i know its dumb but maybe add a, Radiation checkpoint out the city right near the edge whit armored cars police etc, firefighters and all that stuff maybe add some yellow tents barricades and a traffic jam infront of the checkpoint and make it like some drunk guy in a truck crashed in a tent or also you can add a train track near soo it makes a look like a train was giving supplies and that it would take survivors whitout cars or make a millitary truck so its transporting civilians children and females as men were like send to stay and given supplies and yk like chernobyl they would need to explore the destroyed nuclear power plant for radiation and try to restore, but they didnt have time as the millitary forgot about them and left
I would love to see a garbage disposal ground that has been left untouched for a while but has signs that life once was here. and to have some random shacks and bungalows there because of all the random resources in the trash that helped them build shelter and tried to survive. before they had to leave due to lack of water and reliable food sources.
An interesting idea is to have a port next to the train yard but the waters are highly contaminated near the coast due to the power plant malfunction. This means the survivors cannot go this way so therefore they have to result in fixing the diesel train.
STORY LINE: Factions have begun to be created. Small neighborhoods become rivals with eachother, with the leaders of these communities fighting for power to keep their communities alive. Detailing: Create 1-3 small neighborhoods that are surrounded by makeshift barricades (I.e. cars, sheet metal walls, etc). Guard towers at the neighborhoods main entrance. The town square is in the center of the cul-de-sac of the neighborhood.
I think that you should put spray paint on the cargo trains (shipping containers) not just because it is abandoned but because you see them vandalized quite a lot irl.
IDEA(S): I havent been following too long so I dont't know if its already been done. ABANDONED SUPERMARKET/SHOPPING CENTRE/MALL Withh a Large abandoned carpark, storage areas, etc. ABANDONED SLICONE VALLEY With abandoned tech stores, show stages, etc. ABANDONED RESORT/THEME PARK ABANDONED HARBOUR
I have an idea to add borders to the world that also fits the lore. You can make the map an island with the only way in and out through bridges, ports, and airports. The bridges can be destroyed and the airports would obviously already be in disarray, as for the water you can say that naval mines were set up all around, this would be the government's way of containing the virus but also ended up trapping a lot of people in the city. Also another idea, somewhere in the city you could have a large pit that was used as a mass grave used to burn bodies.
Idea: a city with a military evacuation zone in it, there is a big when I mean big BIG explosion happened made one of the buildings collapse on the other because of the shockwave and maybe to make this more realistic say that there is an earthquake happened made the buildings unstable and you can make a survivor’s camp on top of one of the buildings
How bout adding a mall as the first military station that got overrun by the current apocalyptic setup. With a big lot that has been bombarded by the military in a attempt to calm the situation down but killed many army personal. Which adds small lore about how the city got overrun.
Hey so it’s me that random guy I changed my TH-cam name and thanks for using my idea but I got something for your train wreck there. When a train derailed with cars or wagons depending where you are in the world they usually start to smash into each other, it looks something like chocolate pouring, but with, you know, millions of dollars worth of cargo. Also your welcome for the idea my guy love the videos❤ over and out
I also think you should take a look at nicolasanshen’s idea about the artist maybe he lives out behind the train yard where you put up that graffiti earlier
Log 7: Today i found a radio from a millitary guy (Radio) Hello yes this Gamma 5 yea we are heading the puplic cant know about the breach (other guy on radio) rember sucre contain protect
Idea in the future is extinct some historians say it was the nuclear disaster. Others argue, rampant, military control. But as we all know. After collapse of humanity. And intelligent species of octopus involved that found the ruins of humanity fun
most of you probably heard what is happening at melcome. im a worker of the now abandoned train yard. so when the zombies started flooding in everyone panicked and started escaping in cars i just hid in one of the containers with my friend and we stayed there for few hours when we decided it was save enough. when we checked there was still a lot and some even saw us so we hid again. after some minutes we heard an explosion. we thought that the plant had an enother explosion but it was something different. well i will end here i just noticed that my phone has low battery. gonna write again when my phone is gonna be charged.
that slipped woke in game nowadays.. I feel you bro. It is indeed much scarier than zombie apocalypse lol. Game for me as a source of inspiration and escape from reality a bit, exploring a whole different world or same world but doing wacky things without have to deal with authority. But seeing the wokeness has invading the game community too, with every agenda they bring, i feel so disconnected from that same community that has been built for many years. Speaking of community, I really love Metro home base that uses trains, it is a creative way and never seen before, or perhaps my knowledge of gaming are not that deep, but that's interesting concept too. Here's another idea before I catch up with your latest video : I remember playing a game called Freedom Fighters, it's not a zombie apocalypse game tho. They used an expansive underground network as a route to go to each map and objectives. But, the main scope I interested in this game is how they also use this sewers network as a operation base and refugee shelters from on going war happening at the surface. I think you can incorporate some of this idea for your next build. Perhaps you can utilize canals and dams for this rough idea.
ok, only to say something about that szenario. the shelflife of fuel isn't that long as you, or others think it is. It would make more sense to search for a steam engine, instead of repair the diesel engines.
@@doubledonkey I searched for it now, so the shelflife of fuel is about 3 month in a plastic canister, about 6 month in the fueltank in vehicels and up to 10 years in an airtight metal canister. I think airtight metal canisters are not something you can find everywhere.
Survivor logo A group of survivors has set up shop in the old manor district. They have walls, water, electricity, livestock, and food. The group had escaped from the government and the police when the power plant blew. As of today they are listening to the truth news and revealing some things about what has happened. They have been attacked by swarms of undead and police. The barricaded composed of cars, train cars, and containers surround the camp of 9-12 mansions. Some survivors have come from the old trailer park, and some have come from the train yard. The ones who knew what happened at the power plant have been killed or shut up in a different way
What if there was an artist who lived in the area and was depressed for quite a while. He probably struggled with his life and couldn’t find any other purpose besides drinking. But when the accident happened, it was like a wake-up call. instead of leaving like the government said, he took as a sign to get his life back in shape. What if he learned of the rumors of the government and their doings. What if he began using his art skills to paint anti-government graffiti, or even designing symbols for the anti-government groups?
Idea, have burn pits for infected bodies, where soldiers/cdc would burn the bodies of those infected, it can still be smoldering with smoke, kinda like how days gone does it
Yo donkey D i’m sorry I missed out six days ago. I was just been really busy. Still love your videos. I have no idea but I really like this idea what you’re doing so you can make an abandoned theme park that would be so cool like Six Flags. I’ve never been to Six Flags, but yeah, please do Six Flags.

I am a surviver and a old worker of the Powerplant and I went back to my office to gather my equipment and shit and I went around and found documents about a detonation of the powerplant and more details about what happend, I looked through the files and found out that inside the outer wall of the reactor their was a weakent part and the government dug a tunnel under it and filled it with 500KG of TNT #thegovernmentisbehindethis

Was loving the series, was about to subscribe, and was liking each episode. Considering even joining as a member. But now you mention "woke" like a bad thing.
Yes. I too miss all the non woke games like *checks notes* Assassin's Creed Syndicate where one of the protagonists is s woman and the other is a bisexual man, there is a prominent trans character and s mission where you hang out with Karl Marx and beat up cops. I enjoyed the series, but I have to stop here. You're entitled to your opinions but I can't stand dumbass culture war shit.
Was really enjoying the series, but I think that's enough for me. I come to video games and TH-cam stuff in general as an escape, so hearing a creator moaning about 'woke' means it's time for me to unsubscribe. 👍
@doubledonkey Dude. Woke, which I presume you're using as a pejorative term, literally just means being aware of injustices. I don't see any problem with being aware of the challenges other people face in life. I have no interest in people moaning about 'wokeness' in a video about an abandoned city. I was really enjoying the videos, it's a very interesting concept and you've been executing it very well. Everyone is entitled to their own personal politics and opinions, but it's not something I come to CS content creators for. It's great if that's what you want to talk about, but it's not for me.
@@RonWaffle02 It’s probably just a difference in understanding. What I’m referring to are the recent ridiculous politically correct trends happening in the gaming industry. I didn’t care much about it before, until they ruined one of my favorite game-Dragon Age.

Idea : have a museum ship in the area where survivors can hold up
Hey love your rail yard also some suggestions for it (if you can in city skyline 2) but if can maybe you could rust the track of place some dirt covering the tracks where the locos/roiling stock (due to the weight of them and how long they most likely have been sitting for the track would of sank a little bit) hope this helps with the environment making
Edit: on some of the roling stock you could have some rolled over (possibly by a large group of survivors for a camp) or just due to time as the track sunk
You should build some fields like a baseball field or football field, possibly even a school
I dont understand why im late to your videos but anyways, i got an idea: its gonna be a uhh we can say a river whit a base on it... i know its dumb but maybe add a, Radiation checkpoint out the city right near the edge whit armored cars police etc, firefighters and all that stuff maybe add some yellow tents barricades and a traffic jam infront of the checkpoint and make it like some drunk guy in a truck crashed in a tent or also you can add a train track near soo it makes a look like a train was giving supplies and that it would take survivors whitout cars or make a millitary truck so its transporting civilians children and females as men were like send to stay and given supplies and yk like chernobyl they would need to explore the destroyed nuclear power plant for radiation and try to restore, but they didnt have time as the millitary forgot about them and left
ik this is very long
a military convoy or something would be pretty neat, maybe survivors commandeering abandoned National Guard trucks?
idea: Add some small campfires or bonfires in the rail yard emitting smoke into the air to suggest that there could be some survivors situated there.
Here's an idea, you could possibly do a port for the town, which where the train usually goes to for delivering goods to the cargo boats.
I would love to see a garbage disposal ground that has been left untouched for a while but has signs that life once was here. and to have some random shacks and bungalows there because of all the random resources in the trash that helped them build shelter and tried to survive. before they had to leave due to lack of water and reliable food sources.
Oh, glad to found your channel. You are one of a creator, like your video!
❤
really looking forward on how you make a downtown look abandoned if you ever include making one.
Idea: build a cargo port and have a crashed ship at the cargo port
An interesting idea is to have a port next to the train yard but the waters are highly contaminated near the coast due to the power plant malfunction. This means the survivors cannot go this way so therefore they have to result in fixing the diesel train.
btw Sully just dropped a very nice citizens pack. Could be useful for later survivor settlement builds
Maybe you could do something like Doomsday and wall off the city entirely.
I used to paint with another artist named PRESTO!
@@doubledonkey Cool !
IDEA(S):
I havent been following too long so I dont't know if its already been done.
ABANDONED SUPERMARKET/SHOPPING CENTRE/MALL
Withh a Large abandoned carpark, storage areas, etc.
ABANDONED SLICONE VALLEY
With abandoned tech stores, show stages, etc.
ABANDONED RESORT/THEME PARK
ABANDONED HARBOUR
You can also make an abandoned military camp with vehicles helicopters and even abandoned structures
Also another idea, somewhere in the city you could have a large pit that was used as a mass grave used to burn bodies.
burn bodies....
Idea: a city with a military evacuation zone in it, there is a big when I mean big BIG explosion happened made one of the buildings collapse on the other because of the shockwave and maybe to make this more realistic say that there is an earthquake happened made the buildings unstable and you can make a survivor’s camp on top of one of the buildings
idea: a military airport still actived and used to observe this town
You should make a small mall/ mini mall that was quarantined off to prevent the spread of the virus

Idea in the future is extinct some historians say it was the nuclear disaster. Others argue, rampant, military control. But as we all know. After collapse of humanity. And intelligent species of octopus involved that found the ruins of humanity fun
I heard a reporter from KRAP was getting a van and a small team to sneak into the area for a world breaking story of the truth 😉
most of you probably heard what is happening at melcome. im a worker of the now abandoned train yard. so when the zombies started flooding in everyone panicked and started escaping in cars i just hid in one of the containers with my friend and we stayed there for few hours when we decided it was save enough. when we checked there was still a lot and some even saw us so we hid again. after some minutes we heard an explosion. we thought that the plant had an enother explosion but it was something different. well i will end here i just noticed that my phone has low battery. gonna write again when my phone is gonna be charged.
that slipped woke in game nowadays..
Here's another idea before I catch up with your latest video :
I remember playing a game called Freedom Fighters, it's not a zombie apocalypse game tho.
It would make more sense to search for a steam engine, instead of repair the diesel engines.
good point~
@@doubledonkey I searched for it now, so the shelflife of fuel is about 3 month in a plastic canister, about 6 month in the fueltank in vehicels and up to 10 years in an airtight metal canister. I think airtight metal canisters are not something you can find everywhere.
Survivor logo
A group of survivors has set up shop in the old manor district. The ones who knew what happened at the power plant have been killed or shut up in a different way
I think we need a logo!
@doubledonkey what kind of logo

How about 3 squares on top of each other with a circle in the middle
What if there was an artist who lived in the area and was depressed for quite a while. He probably struggled with his life and couldn’t find any other purpose besides drinking. But when the accident happened, it was like a wake-up call. instead of leaving like the government said, he took as a sign to get his life back in shape. What if he learned of the rumors of the government and their doings. What if he began using his art skills to paint anti-government graffiti, or even designing symbols for the anti-government groups?
I love this idea my man, I put it in response for him to look at under my comment
I love trains ❤🚈
idea: major FEMA or other government agency called in to assist uhhh maybe like a post or something
Idea, have burn pits for infected bodies, where soldiers/cdc would burn the bodies of those infected, it can still be smoldering with smoke, kinda like how days gone does it
Criminally under subscribed!
I love trains and seeing this just makes me extremely happy
Yo donkey D i’m sorry I missed out six days ago. I was just been really busy. Still love your videos. I have no idea but I really like this idea what you’re doing so you can make an abandoned theme park that would be so cool like Six Flags. I’ve never been to Six Flags, but yeah, please do Six Flags.
Sorry for my awful grammar
a lot man!~
Guess I can only build an abandoned theme park in Planet Coaster 2 now........ ~there s No amusement park assets in CS2 yet. Always wanted to make a abandoned Ferris wheel, but sucks it’s only for pre-order players...Hope they add some later!
Idea Have a airport whit a plane crash that exesplain why the plane crash into power lines
Could you maybe add a garbage truck scene?
What are the mod for the prop buildings on the part 11:15 to 11:46 and the vehicles
prop buildings : Vanilla Ploppables: Zoned Buildings
The name might be a lit bit confusing, but everything start with "Vanilla Ploppables" are just props.
What if the mayor like knew the plant was gonna fail and did nothing about it as he was paid off by someone to do nothing about it
Yipee a new vid
Best cs2 series honestly
Can you make sinking town? It slowly flooding because a dam breech
So, what mods did you use, I’m new to CS2 and I want to make something similar. If you see this, thanks.

Hi donkey D the vid is looking great can’t wait to watch it
I know that you don’t want to do a big city, but having an intersection with a bunch of cars in the middle of nowhere without a somewhat large town makes no sense
it won’t have the feel of a big metropolis~ but some kind of town center or main roads should still be included.
Huh
Watt if a train from the train yard full of a surviver and the train derailed bikos of brocken rails and Hit a wall of a surviver Kamp in a neighborhoodnear close by rails it was called after the neighborhood name it was sunsetdrive, date was after date it was abandoned bikos the Brig woll Kunden by repair after the Accident dat is my ideal.

Day 2 of asking for an Idea: build a abandoned comercial old town area for the city and have a walmart or a large shopping area as a quarantine that fell after the military fled but now is flooded
TRAINSSSSS
Was loving the series, was about to subscribe, and was liking each episode. Considering even joining as a member. But now you mention "woke" like a bad thing.
Yoooooooooooo ❤❤
Who is Donkey D? Does he walk among us mere mortals?
Was really enjoying the series, but I think that's enough for me. I come to video games and TH-cam stuff in general as an escape, so hearing a creator moaning about 'woke' means it's time for me to unsubscribe. 👍
So you think WOKE is good for games/gamers or what?
Me too! I liked the video and had my mouse on the subscribe button!
