This review was originally posted in August 2012, and is the third instalment of Snipes Month. This is a re-edited version, that runs 1m 58s shorter than the original, with the following changes:
- Now in 1080p HD! This is a hybrid episode, re-edited from the original files, but my footage was deleted years ago, so those have been upscaled from the 640 pixel file. However, the movie footage itself is Full HD, and that required a lot of effort to re-time it to PAL speed so that it synced with with the review. Some of the other movie footage has also been replaced with higher definition versions.
- The usual trims to movie clips to shorten them.
- Sound has been remastered and improved, and normalised.
- Cuts to shorten any dragging syllables in narration or on-camera footage.
- Some minor edits to tone down violence, either digitally or removing frames.
- Removal of breaths in voiceovers.
- Added poster for the movie Navy Seals.
- Music replacement in the credits.
This is meant to tie in (slightly belatedly) with Snipes appearing in RZA's Cut Throat City. Enjoy!

I loved Film Brain's description of Hard Luck, so much that I always imagined it becoming weirder and weirder. I imagined him listing off scenes so insane that you'd assume he was just making them up if he wasn't showing clips.
Oh hey, I remember this movie. I actually have that 6-DVD set myself. Quite frankly, my favorite ones out of these would probably be The Detonator and 7 Seconds. Sure, they're pretty bog-standard compared to many other action movies, but they have a couple decent action scenes.
As for The Marksman, I feel like they missed the chance to cast Snipes as a sniper.
The Airplane the movie stock footage was the best the only thing that would have been better. If we had seen his drinking problem.

Don't look down on water treatment plants Deer Island near Boston has been everything from Nuclear power plant to an Alien Base and the R. C. Harris plant near Toronto has been everything from a Evil bad guy lair to a prison and has been so many TV shows and movies it's almost iconic.
When your movie called marksman but the guy on the cover is carrying a compact submachine gun

I sadly encountered this movie back in 2008 while visiting family at their house. I watched half of the movie and then I gave up
I love watching your old Bad Movie Beat Downs; not only are you very funny,but you bring up very good points about the movies. I can't rewatch old Nostalgic Critic anymore (too much cringe and high pitched screaming); you are timeless❤️❤️❤️

That sliced throat guy screaming is probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a bad action movie, he even wheezes to try to sound more convincing, also I'm pretty sure all these movies are just fronts for money laundering

With a title like that, I was expecting Snipes to play a sniper (which seems like cute double entendre) but apparently not.
Talk about a missed opportunity.
Snipes fell on hard times in the 2000s.

They'd have a underground tunnel to the hospital to quickly transport medical staff in case there is a radiological incident at the hospital, a lot of russian nuclear plants had hospitals nearby for that reason Pripyat was basically arranged around the chernobyl/vladamir lenin plant

A movie so badly written, it has a scene of a woman dumping a grenade in the cockpit of a helicopter, and everyone rushes out except for the pilot fishing around for said active grenade. That's quite an interesting level of bad writing.

This movie clearly had a budget of $3.99. that's school play money!
Yes, and it is a sucsessful blockbuster as it returned more than 10 times it's budget in vhs sales alone....

I loved Andrew Stevens in the 80’s. He was an older teen beat heart throb type. However he was everywhere.
I mainly remember him from those 'Night Eyes' erotic thrillers and the Bronson movie '10 to Midnight'
Lots of those settings remind me of the videogame S.t.a.l.k.e.r.

I think the only think I remember out of it were the placeholder gun sounds that felt like they were ripped straight out of a soundboard.

Even pre-RJ freddiew videos hold up better than this.
On one hand, I feel that any mention of Matt Salinger without bringing up that *he's J.D. freaking Salinger's son* is leaving out critical information. On the other hand...maybe as a culture we need to move on. Good move, 2012 Matthew Buck.

And top gun came out in the 80s!
Active stealth came out in 1999! 13 years and they still wanted to cash in on top gun by stealing footage from it. I'm surprised Stevens wasn't sued!

When are you going to the movie 'US' the single most stupid movie to come out in years. I am amazingly tolerant of bad movie but I ended up ranting and swearing so much the dog hid under bed and had to be coaxed out.
