Jon from Bondi Effects builds wonderfully crafted devices and the Art Van is an absolute work of wonder!! Never have I played a delay that is so musical regardless of where the controls are set. It’s beautifully and ‘plug ‘n’ play’ but also loaded with option and deep control over every aspect of its design. If you love delay, you simply must own an Art Van, worth every penny and then some!

It's interesting that you mention the repeats are upper mids focused- every other demo or review I've seen has said how especially dark this delay is, but to me it sounds on the brighter side.

I think most analog delays will start with a lot of high content in them but the roll off per repeat is quite drastic so people either focus on the right front or dark tail, the beauty about the AVD is how the repeats maintain the tonal integrity in the upper mids almost exclusively even into oscillation, so to some people that may seem bright to other dark. But one thing for sure is this is easily the most inspiring analog delay I’ve played... and I’ve got a bunch of em.
