    Loved my flight on this plane. Sat in first class seat 4 out of concourse C5 in Cleveland and landed at Charlotte Douglas at concourse E29 on March 22 2019 and there was a ton of leg room with an amazing American crew. Can’t wait to fly more American in the future!

    Our first flight in a CRJ 900 next. Gen. Norfolk to Charlotte. Great flight. Plenty of leg room !!! Quiet!!! Fast!!! Great American Airlines crew!!! Then, we got Charlotte. Walked about a mile to get to the next gate to go to Denver on a A 321. Once aboard it felt like our legs were in our face for the next 3 hours . Would have rather stayed on the CRJ even if it took twice as long to get there!

    Thanks for posting, great amount of detail for such a short flight. I do hate the CRJ though, all types, it's my least favorite aircraft and I still can't believe US airlines use them for such long routes.

      Thank you very much! It was my first time flying the CRJ on this trip and it was not too bad. It was quiet and comfortable which was decent for an hour long flight. Personally I do prefer the larger aircraft (A320/737 upwards) as there is more going on during the flight.

      The CRJ isn't that bad but I do have to agree with you on US airlines using them on long routes. I've Been on a CRJ twice from LGA to IAH as a direct flight. The flight was 3h30min. Mean while from JFK to Atlanta which is like 2 hours I get an A320. Logic. I feel like CRJ's should be used for connection flights not direct.

      Just flew my first CRJ 900 next gen from Norfolk to Charlotee. Loved it!!! Plenty of leg room, quiet... much more room than any 737 or A 321. The A 321 we flew from

    Btw (I hate to correct bc I don't wanna be "that" guy) that was not 18L that you arrived on, that was the, now, extremely rare 5-23 diagonal runway at CLT.

    Can you do a trip report on Delta Airlines and if you fly and MD-80, MD-90 or Boeing 717 can you sit in the back so you can get the view of wing and engine.

    I flew cle to clt the legroom is very food for a small jet and it's a good side plane as well for being a smaller jet

    Is it that quiet?

    • @ghosttoast7
      @ghosttoast7 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea. Since the engines are in the rear all the noise gets pushed behind the plane.

    I have to fly on one of these next month from Brownsville, TX to DFW. I have a bad fear of flying as it is, and I've heard nothing but horror stories about these small regional planes. Terrified!!!! :(

      zipjay It was worth it, yes. However, on such a short flight it would have not made a big difference whether in MCE or economy.

      Those are "Mobile Lounges" as IAD calls them. They simply are a fancy airport bus.

      Shuttle buses from terminal to terminal. They look like something used in the army of a foreign country.

      they are the people movers. They moved people from the Main Terminal to the B,C,D gates. That was the only way to get to them untill they put in the underground rail system.

    They should repaint the plane tails back to the "AA", maybe not the entire plane, just the tail. The body of the plane isn't too bad, it's an alright metro update, but that "American Flag", holy shit, I can't stand it, it looks so fucking horrible you don't even know. It doesn't even resemble the American flag except for that it has red/white and blue: other than that it's just a complete mess. They should have repainted the tails so that it still says "AA" but maybe with a white background instead of silver.

      ClearSky Productions, the previous livery was perfect and absolutely 100% spot on. What's more, a bare metal fuselage is lighter too, providing fuel savings.
      The new livery is a significant downgrade, to put it politely.

    • @justaracething1353
      @justaracething1353 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Luc Gaudreault from what I heard the old livery had significant heating problems to critical instruments, and the protective coating was getting too expensive so they switch to a light colored paint

    • @seven6228
      @seven6228 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ClearSky Productions if they did that the plane would look very under painted
